MY Lusine is a 60-metre full-custom motor yacht, the largest steel yacht Heesen had built at her delivery in 2022. She is constructed on a steel hull with aluminium superstructure, using the Fast Displacement Hull Form developed by Van Oossanen and refined by Heesen’s naval architects for range and efficiency without giving up speed.
Frank Laupman of Omega Architects drew her exterior, with a distinctive ‘bird’s wing’ motif linking the main, bridge and sun decks beneath a bold horizontal sweep of tinted glass. The interior by Sinot Yacht Architecture and Design is calm and restrained, built around rare woods, fine leathers and a full-beam owner’s stateroom with 180-degree views and a private aft terrace.
Two MTU 4000 series engines give her a top speed of 17.5 knots and a range of 4,200 nautical miles at 13 knots. At 1,079 GT across 60 metres, she pairs the volume of a much larger yacht with the efficiency and seakeeping of the FDHF platform.
