MICHISAN Yacht Charter

MICHISAN is a 2026 Sanlorenzo SL90A, the planing flagship of the SL line, and she arrives with the one quality that still separates a great charter yacht from a good one: pace with poise. She runs to nearly 29 knots, yet the volume she carries across 27.6 metres belongs to a noticeably larger boat. That combination is rare at this size, and it is the reason she charters so well.

The volume is the story. Sanlorenzo has pushed the main deck glazing almost to the floor, so the salon reads as a single bright room that opens straight onto the aft deck. Pale sofas, warm oak and linen set a calm, modern tone. Nothing shouts. The eye goes to the water, which is exactly the point. Forward of the salon, a second interior seating area sets armchairs against the glass, a quiet corner for reading or conversation while the coastline slides past, and a sculpted timber staircase ties the decks together as a piece of joinery in its own right.

Outside, she is built for long days. The flybridge gathers guests around shaded seating and a bar with open views on every side, the natural centre of gravity for lunches that drift into sundowners. Forward of the wheelhouse, a private sunpad and seating area gives couples a retreat away from the main social decks. Aft, the beach club and bathing platform bring guests down to sea level for swimming, paddleboards and the tender, so the day moves easily between sunbathing, the water and the table.

Below, five en suite cabins sleep eight, a layout tuned for families and close groups rather than a single owner. The full beam master runs the width of the hull, with hull windows on both sides filling the room with daylight across a large bed and a composed palette of oak and soft textiles. The guest cabins carry the same restraint, each finished in warm timber and each with its own view of the sea, so no one aboard feels they drew the lesser room.

Service matches the design. A crew of four looks after eight guests in quiet, practiced fashion, from the galley to the deck, close at hand when wanted and invisible when not. Meals move between the formal interior table, the shaded aft deck and the flybridge depending on the hour and the mood, and the fast hull means a long lunch ashore and an evening anchorage need not be a compromise.

MICHISAN cruises the Western Mediterranean, at home along the Italian coast and the islands through the summer season. She suits guests who want speed when the schedule is tight and stillness when it is not, who value light, space and an easy flow between inside and out over any show of excess.

She is contemporary Sanlorenzo at its most useful: quick, full of light, and genuinely easy to live aboard for a week at a time.

The SL90A sits at the top of Sanlorenzo’s sport line, a hull shaped as much for the way it carries guests as for the way it moves, and MICHISAN shows why that design has travelled so well. Clean exterior volumes, large opening glass and a sensible five cabin layout make her as rewarding at anchor as she is under way, a yacht that reads the week rather than dictating it.
