Cantiere delle Marche / Cantiere delle Marche RJ Class 155
The RJ Class 155 is the flagship of Cantiere delle Marche’s RJ line, a 46.78-metre steel and aluminium explorer drawn by Francesco Paszkowski for owners who want genuine ocean range at the top of the range. Her 8.85-metre beam and 510-tonne full-load displacement give the volume of a far larger yacht, while the deep displacement hull and 2.65-metre draught keep her steady and sure-footed in open water. Twin Caterpillar C32 ACERT engines of 895 kW each drive her to 15 knots, and at a 12-knot cruise her 66,400 litres of fuel return a range of 4,000 nautical miles.
Five cabins accommodate ten guests, with two Pullman berths for added flexibility, around a full-beam owner’s suite separated from the guest quarters below. Nine crew in five cabins run the yacht to the standard a flagship demands on long passages. Electric zero-speed fin stabilisers hold her level under way and at anchor.
Built to order in Ancona and classed by RINA, the RJ Class 155 is a serious long-range yacht that pairs CdM’s proven engineering with the space and presence of a true 47-metre explorer. The first hull was delivered in 2025, and each new commission is tailored to the owner’s brief.

Twin Caterpillar C32 ACERT engines rated at 895 kW each drive the RJ Class 155 to a maximum of 15 knots and a 12-knot cruise. The displacement hull favours endurance over speed, and the numbers reflect that: 66,400 litres of diesel give a range of 4,000 nautical miles at 12 knots, with the reserve to cross oceans and link far-apart anchorages. Reintjes WAF543L gearboxes with a 3.955:1 ratio transfer the power, while 110 kW bow and stern thrusters handle manoeuvring in close quarters. Two 118 kW Caterpillar generators carry the hotel load, and electric zero-speed fin stabilisers keep roll motion in check under way and at rest. A urea-based exhaust treatment system, with 3,000 litres of tankage, keeps her within current emissions limits, and the engineering throughout is specified for reliability on long legs rather than peak performance.
Francesco Paszkowski scaled the RJ profile up to flagship size without losing the balance that marks the line. The tense sheer runs from a raked bow through glazed bulwarks, and the open stern folds down to a generous beach club at the waterline. At 46.78 metres she carries four decks of outdoor space, from a private sun deck to the main aft deck set up for dining and relaxation at anchor. The 8.85-metre beam gives wide, secure side decks and a large foredeck, which matters on a yacht intended for long passages and open water. Extensive glazing in the aluminium superstructure fills the interior with daylight, while the steel hull below the waterline provides the rigidity needed for ocean work. The result reads as a capable long-range yacht drawn with restraint, a flagship that looks purposeful from every angle.
The RJ Class 155 accommodates ten guests in five cabins, with two Pullman berths that add flexibility for families or extra guests. The full-beam owner’s suite takes a prime position with panoramic windows, a walk-in wardrobe and a private bathroom, set well apart from the four guest cabins. Nine crew are housed in five cabins, a complement suited to flagship service on extended cruises, with a mess and galley that run independently of the guest areas. The 8.85-metre beam and 4.30-metre depth give the interior generous width and height, so the volume feels in proportion to the yacht’s length. As with every CdM, the layout, materials and finish are developed with the owner, so the interior is shaped to an individual brief rather than delivered to a fixed specification.
The main salon anchors the social life of the yacht, with a lounge and a dining area that open onto the main aft deck through wide glass doors. The upper deck adds a sky lounge and a sheltered outdoor space with long views, while the sun deck above is a private retreat with sunpads, a spa pool and a bar. At the stern, the transom drops to form a beach club that connects the interior to the sea and serves as a base for tenders and watersports, with a garage that stows the toys out of sight. A flagship of this size has the room for generous storage, technical spaces and standing-height engine-room access, which keeps her practical on long cruises. Every space is planned to remain comfortable at sea as well as at anchor, as a yacht built for ocean passages should be.
Cantiere delle Marche builds each RJ Class 155 to order at its yard in Ancona. The production model allows wide customisation of layout, materials and equipment while keeping the structural consistency of a proven hull, and classification under RINA covers structure, machinery and safety to international standards. The 2.65-metre draught keeps a broad choice of anchorages open across the Mediterranean and beyond, while 10,500 litres of fresh water with watermaker support allow long self-sufficient cruising. Black and grey water tankage meets environmental rules in sensitive waters. The first hull, RJ 155.39, was delivered in 2025, and that operational experience informs each new commission, which reduces the risk of a fresh design. For an owner who wants an ocean-capable flagship with real volume, flagship crew provision and a bespoke interior, the RJ Class 155 makes a clear and considered case at the top of the RJ range.
