ISA Yachts / ISA GT Alloy 45
The ISA GT Alloy 45 is a 45-metre all-aluminium superyacht and the sporting counterpart to the yard’s steel-hulled GT 45. Enrico Gobbi of Team for Design drew both, but the alloy construction here shifts the balance towards performance: lighter displacement, a cleaner turn of speed and a draught of only 2.25 metres that opens up anchorages larger yachts cannot reach. Twin MTU 16V2000M96L engines carry her to 20 knots, with an 18-knot fast cruise and a range of 3,600 nautical miles at 12 knots, enough for genuine passage-making. Accommodation is arranged for ten guests across five cabins, with nine crew in five cabins to run her at full charter standard. Her defining feature is the aft beach club, offered in two configurations: an enclosed, climate-controlled version with a fold-up transom door for cooler cruising grounds, or an open layout with a pool and uninterrupted access to the water. Gobbi’s exterior keeps the lines long and taut, the elongated bow adding usable volume forward while preserving the elegance ISA is known for. Built in Ancona within the Palumbo Superyachts group, she is a semi-custom platform with real scope for owner input on layout and finish.

Twin MTU 16V2000M96L diesels drive the GT Alloy 45 to a top speed of 20 knots, with a comfortable fast cruise of 18 knots. The aluminium hull and superstructure keep weight down, which is what lets her hold those figures without the thirst a heavier steel yacht would show at the same pace. At a relaxed 12 knots she covers 3,600 nautical miles, enough to cross oceans with margin. The 2.25-metre draught is as much a performance feature as a practical one, reducing wetted surface and letting her reach cruising grounds that deeper yachts cannot enter.
Enrico Gobbi gave the GT Alloy 45 a sharp, elongated bow that reads fast at rest and adds volume to the forward decks. The profile is long and horizontal, with clean glazing and an uncluttered superstructure that avoids the stacked look of many yachts her size. Aluminium construction allows generous window openings and slender mullions, bringing light deep into the interior. The exterior is unmistakably part of ISA’s Granturismo family, sporty without tipping into aggression, and designed to look of a piece whether seen from the dock or under way.
Five cabins accommodate ten guests, with the owner given a full-beam suite that makes the most of the yacht’s width and the low, wide glazing of the alloy superstructure. The layout leaves room for a separate crew area with five cabins for a team of nine, so she can be run to charter standard without guest and crew paths crossing. ISA offers the interior as a largely blank canvas, with owners free to set the material palette and the balance between formal and relaxed spaces. The volume of a 45-metre yacht is here, delivered in a hull light enough to keep her quick.
The aft beach club is the heart of the GT Alloy 45, and ISA lets the owner choose its character. Specified as an enclosed room, it becomes a climate-controlled lounge with a fold-up transom door, usable in heat or wind alike. Specified open, it gives onto a pool and a sea-level terrace for swimming and tendering. Above, the main-deck saloon flows through full-height glass to the aft cockpit, and the sun deck adds a second gathering space with long views. Every deck is drawn to keep guests close to the water rather than lifted above it.
The GT Alloy 45 is built by ISA Yachts in Ancona, part of the Palumbo Superyachts group, which runs its own refit and service yards across the Mediterranean. As a semi-custom aluminium platform she is priced in the region of 26 million euros new, close to her steel-hulled sister but tuned for speed and shallow-water reach rather than outright volume. The aluminium construction rewards an owner who values performance and intends to cruise actively, and the Palumbo network is set up to support her over the long term. Delivery terms and specification are agreed hull by hull, which is the appeal of a GT: a known platform with genuine room to personalise.
