She turns like something far smaller than 7.62 metres.
The twin stepped hull and narrow 2.23 metre beam were designed for exactly this: quick direction changes with no drift and a hull that reacts the moment the wheel moves. Fitted with the range topping Mercury outboard, she reaches 40 knots and settles into a 25 knot cruise, the most efficient point in her rev range. At that pace the 230 litre tank delivers 250 nautical miles, enough for a full day on the water and the run home. The step from displacement speed to planing arrives cleanly, without the bow climbing or the view forward disappearing, a detail that matters as much in a crowded anchorage as it does offshore.
The axe bow is more than a signature. It is the reason she rides the way she does.
Axopar’s naval architecture keeps the hull deliberately narrow, a proportion that looks almost severe against wider rivals until she is underway, when it becomes clear the shape is doing real work: cutting spray away from the deck, keeping the ride level and letting her fit, bow to transom, inside a single standard shipping container for transport. A large, adjustable windscreen shelters the helm and forward bench, and handholds line the narrow foredeck passage so moving forward at rest never feels like a compromise on a boat built this slim. It is function first, and the styling follows.
The cockpit is built for a full day, not a quick lap.
A U shaped bench wraps a cockpit measuring 2.90 by 1.78 metres, generous proportions for a boat this size, with stowage built into the seating rather than bolted on top of it. Day guest capacity runs to eight, and the layout keeps everyone within easy reach of the helm and the swim platform aft. Forward, a narrow but secure walkway with handholds leads to the bow, useful when picking up a mooring or simply watching the anchorage from the pulpit. Nothing here feels borrowed from a larger model and shrunk. It is proportioned specifically for the 25 Cross Bow’s own footprint.
Below deck, she does something few 25 footers manage: she lets you stay.
The slip cabin sleeps two on a berth measuring 1.90 by 1.50 metres, lit by windows that keep the space bright rather than the cave like feeling smaller cabins can have. Headroom is modest at 1.34 metres standing and 0.90 metres seated, so this is a cabin for sleeping and shelter rather than living, but it comes complete with an electric toilet, a washbasin and a 51 by 51 centimetre hatch for ventilation. For a boat with one cabin and no crew required, it is a genuinely usable space, not a token gesture toward overnight cruising.
The 25 Cross Bow is priced to be a first step, not a compromise.
She is offered from 75,000 euros with a Mercury FourStroke 200 as standard, stepping up through a 225hp FourStroke to the 250hp Verado fitted to the fastest hulls on the water. Displacement sits at 1,800 kilograms, light enough to keep trailering and towing realistic for an owner who wants flexibility between marinas. Naval architecture, exterior and interior design all sit within Axopar’s own studio, and day capacity for eight guests makes her equally suited to a family afternoon or a broker’s tender duty. For an entry point into the Axopar range with genuine overnight ability built in, she is difficult to beat.
