She is the largest boat in the SLX day range, and still reaches 35 knots.
The standard MerCruiser 6.2 litre engine on a Bravo Three sterndrive carries the SLX 350 to a 25 knot cruise and a 35 knot top speed, with twin 6.2 litre and 8.2 litre MAG options available for owners who want more power in reserve. A deep V hull with four lifting strakes per side and 21 degrees of deadrise at the transom keeps her settled through open water chop that would unsettle a lighter boat, and an optional running surface trim control adjusts automatically to hold that composure at speed. Sea Ray’s Quiet Ride engineering, the same sound and vibration damping used across the SLX range, keeps the cockpit calm even as the engine works.
A carbon fibre reinforced hardtop and a manual sunroof give her the silhouette of a much larger yacht.
Sea Ray’s in-house design team drew the SLX 350 as the flagship of the range, and it shows in details like the optional submersible swim platform and the rumble seat style aft lounger that extends the social deck right to the transom. The cockpit sits around 40 inches deep, entered through an angled walkway that keeps movement around the boat secure underway rather than just at rest. An optional powered awning and bow shade extend her usable deck time into the hottest part of the day, while the standard hardtop shelters the helm without closing the boat in. At 3.2 metres of beam, she carries enough width to make all of this feel unhurried rather than cramped.
One cabin, two berths, and the only place in the SLX range to properly lie down.
Tucked beneath the port console, a hideaway day cabin offers around 4 foot 7 inches of headroom, a small television and filler cushions that convert the space into a genuine berth for two, enough for a nap between anchorages or a night sheltering from poor weather rather than cutting a trip short. A separate head sits under the helm console with its own holding tank, kept apart from the cabin so one does not compromise the other, a deliberate layout choice over earlier versions of this model. It is a small accommodation by yacht standards, but a real one, and it is what separates the SLX 350 from the rest of the SLX day range.
Eighteen people can be on deck at once, and the boat never feels like it is working to keep up.
An L shaped cockpit lounge, a folding table and a wet bar with a sink and small refrigerator anchor the social deck, with an electric grill available for owners who want to keep meals on board rather than at the dock. The bow seats a further share of that eighteen guest capacity, with twin tables that lower flat to extend the lounging area when the boat is at anchor. At the helm, a glass dash with twin 9 inch displays, upgradable to 12 inch, runs alongside digital throttle and shift and a joystick piloting system, putting precise low speed control within reach even with a full cockpit of guests watching.
The SLX 350 is the model in this range built to be lived aboard for a day, and occasionally a night.
At 10.5 metres and 3.2 metres of beam, with a 606 litre fuel tank supporting 200 nautical miles of range, she carries the specification to match her position as the largest SLX. The standard 6.2 litre MerCruiser engine and Bravo Three sterndrive are backed by twin 6.2 litre and 8.2 litre MAG options for owners who want to specify beyond the base package, and Sea Ray’s own engineering team carries the same Quiet Ride and Active Trim thinking through from the smaller SLX 280 and SLX 310. For a buyer who has already considered those two and wants more deck, more guests and an actual berth to retreat to, the SLX 350 is the logical next step.
