Fairline Squadron 50 For Sale

The Squadron 50 is the smallest flybridge Fairline currently builds, and the yard treated that as a design brief rather than a limitation. The bridge sits compact and well forward, so the profile still reads as a cruiser instead of a tower, and the 15.6 metre hull keeps the proportions honest from every angle.

Volvo Penta IPS does the rest. Twin IPS650s return 31 knots and the IPS700 pairing 32, but the reason to specify pods at this size is joystick berthing and the quiet, level ride they leave behind. Draft is 1.17 metres unloaded, which opens up anchorages that shaft-drive rivals of the same length have to pass by.

The lower deck comes two ways. A two-cabin plan gives an amidships owner’s suite and a forward VIP, four berths in total; a three-cabin plan adds a guest cabin and takes that to six. A crew cabin aft is optional, and on the main deck the galley can sit down among the cabins or up beside the helm. Fairline publishes both drawings rather than leaving a buyer to guess.

Used Mk3 boats trade between roughly 930,000 and 1.4 million euro depending on year and specification, while the 2011 to 2015 Mk2 hulls sit a long way below that. Anyone comparing listings should establish which generation is on offer first, because the two share a name and little else.
