Cannes to Nice Charter Itinerary

Cannes to Nice Itinerary

Cannes to Nice Yacht Charter
A leisurely journey along the best of the Cote d’Azur, from the glamour of Cannes to the capital elegance of Nice, taking in the coast’s quiet islands and headlands as it goes. This is the Riviera explored at an unhurried pace, marquee harbours balanced with pine-shaded coves and belle-epoque calm. Expect film-festival glamour and monastic islands, cliff-top trails and long lunches at anchor, the polished and the peaceful within easy reach of one another.

Every route we shape is a starting point, not a fixed schedule. Stay a second day where the light is right, move with the weather, or follow a captain to a quieter cove. What follows is one considered way to read it; the rest we tailor to you.
Day 1

Cannes

Begin in Cannes, a byword for Riviera glamour since the 1950s. The Croisette runs long and palm-lined past the grand hotels and beach clubs, and behind it lie the boutiques and cafes that set the town’s rhythm. Settle aboard, then take an easy first evening ashore.

Day 2

Iles de Lerins

Cruise the short distance to Sainte-Marguerite, largest of the Lerins islands, wooded and blissfully car-free. Follow the botanical trails ashore, visit the old fort, then anchor off the monastery island of Saint-Honorat for a swim in clear, sheltered water.

Day 3

Theoule-sur-Mer

Sail west to Theoule-sur-Mer, tucked into a cove beneath the red porphyry hills of the Esterel. Turquoise water meets small sandy beaches backed by pine, and the contrast with the polished towns is the point. Anchor for a swim and a slow afternoon on deck.

Day 4

Cap d'Antibes

Cruise to the Cap d’Antibes, the green headland of legendary villas and the Hotel du Cap. The adventurous can walk the Sentier de Tirepoil, a coastal path along low cliffs with sweeping sea views. Anchor off the point and give the afternoon to the water.

Day 5

Beaulieu-sur-Mer

Continue to Beaulieu-sur-Mer, a belle-epoque town beneath sheltering cliffs, all preserved architecture and unhurried charm. Anchor offshore, take the tender in for lunch, and enjoy an easy afternoon in one of the coast’s most appealing small harbours.

Day 6

Monaco

Cruise to Monaco, the principality that packs harbour, casino and grand hotels into a footprint you can cross on foot. Berth in Port Hercule among the largest yachts of the season, take in Monte-Carlo after dark, and feel the energy of a place built around the water.

Day 7

Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat

Round to Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, the green peninsula that hides some of the Riviera’s most storied villas among its pines. Three hundred days of sun a year fall on its gardens and coves. Anchor for the afternoon, swim, and take the evening quietly on deck.
Day 8

Nice

The voyage ends at Nice, capital of the Cote d’Azur. Wander the narrow streets of Vieux Nice and the daily flower market, lunch on a terrace above the Baie des Anges, then take a last stroll along the Promenade des Anglais before the charter closes.
