Monaco to St Tropez Charter Itinerary

Monaco to St Tropez Itinerary

Monaco to St Tropez Yacht Charter
Eight days across the heart of the French Riviera, from the principality of Monaco to the fishing-village glamour of Saint-Tropez, tracing the coast that has drawn the discerning for a century. This route gathers the marquee names, Monaco, Nice and Cannes, and threads them with the quieter capes and islands between. It moves west with the sun: grand harbours and casino nights giving way to belle-epoque calm, cliff-top villas and long swims off wooded islands.

Every route we shape is a starting point, not a fixed schedule. Stay a second day where the light is right, move with the weather, or follow a captain to a quieter cove. What follows is one considered way to read it; the rest we tailor to you.
Day 1

Monaco

Begin in Monaco, a city built entirely around the water’s edge and best appreciated from it. Cross the principality on foot, harbour to casino to terraced gardens, then step aboard in Port Hercule. As you slip past the breakwater, Monte-Carlo arranges itself behind you and the coast opens ahead.

Day 2

Beaulieu-sur-Mer

A short passage brings Beaulieu-sur-Mer, a belle-epoque town tucked beneath cliffs that drop to the sea. It is quiet and walkable, unhurried in a way its glamorous neighbours are not. Anchor offshore, take the tender in for lunch, and let the pace settle.

Day 3

Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat

Round to Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, the green peninsula that hides storied villas among its pines. The coastal path threads between gardens and coves under near-constant sun. Anchor for the afternoon, swim from the yacht, and take the evening on deck as the Cap quietens.
Day 4

Nice

Cruise to Nice, capital of the Cote d’Azur. Wander the lanes of the old town and its flower market, then hop ashore for lunch on a terrace above the Baie des Anges. An easy, elegant day in the coast’s liveliest city.
Day 5

Cap d'Antibes

Sail to the Cap d’Antibes, headland of legendary villas and the Hotel du Cap. Walk the Sentier de Tirepoil along the low cliffs for sweeping views, then anchor off the point and give the afternoon to the water and the yacht’s toys.

Day 6

Cannes

Continue to Cannes, the Riviera at its most poised. The Croisette runs long past the grand hotels, and the boutiques and terraces behind set the rhythm. Take a beach afternoon, then a long dinner ashore before returning to the yacht.

Day 7

Iles de Lerins

Cruise to the Iles de Lerins just offshore, wooded and calm. Anchor between Sainte-Marguerite and the monastery island of Saint-Honorat, follow the shaded trails, and swim in sheltered, clear water, quiet minutes from the glamour.

Day 8

Saint-Tropez

The voyage ends in Saint-Tropez, brought to fame by Bardot and never quite tamed since. Browse the old port and La Ponche, take a last swim off Pampelonne, and toast a week on the Riviera as the harbour fills with evening light.
