The Heesen 5000 Aluminium FDHF is a 50-metre superyacht featuring Heesen’s proprietary Fast Displacement Hull Form, an innovative design that achieves displacement-like efficiency at higher speeds. Built entirely in aluminium, she delivers remarkable fuel economy and extended range without sacrificing performance.
Powered by twin MTU 12V 2000 M72 engines, the FDHF variant reaches 20 knots and cruises at 16 knots, with a range of 3,750 nautical miles on 45,000 litres of fuel. The hull form reduces resistance by up to 30 percent compared to conventional semi-displacement designs, making her one of the most efficient 50-metre yachts afloat.
Exterior design by Omega Architects creates a sleek, modern profile. Twelve guests are accommodated in six staterooms, attended by a crew of nine. The FDHF platform has proven highly popular, with multiple hulls delivered featuring interiors by leading designers including Cristiano Gatto and Harrison Eidsgaard.
