Four cabins is the configuration that sleeps eight properly, and it is the point at which charter becomes accessible without becoming a compromise. Twenty nine yachts in our charter fleet are laid out this way, running from twenty four metres to fifty seven, with the median close to thirty two.
What makes this group unusual is the mix. Eleven of the twenty nine are sailing yachts, a far higher proportion than the fleet as a whole, because four cabins fits naturally inside a hull that must also leave room for a rig, a keel and sail handling. The motor yachts here tend to be efficient designs where four cabins on the lower deck free the main deck for living space rather than accommodation.
Rates start below twenty thousand euros a week and the middle of the fleet sits near seventy five thousand, with the top end around one hundred and seventy five thousand. Add an advance provisioning allowance of roughly thirty percent for fuel, food, berthing and drinks. This is the most forgiving part of the charter market on budget.
