Antigua & the Leeward Islands Charter Itinerary

Antigua & the Leeward Islands Itinerary

Antigua & the Leeward Islands Yacht Charter
A week from historic Antigua south through the volcanic Leewards to the French Caribbean, ending at one of the loveliest bays in the world. This route pairs Nelson-era naval history with rainforest islands and creole flavour. Expect Georgian dockyards and hilltop forts, powder-white beaches and butterfly-shaped Guadeloupe, a rich blend of history, nature and easy island sailing.

Every route we shape is a starting point, not a fixed schedule. Stay a second day where the light is right, move with the weather, or follow a captain to a quieter cove. What follows is one considered way to read it; the rest we tailor to you.
Day 1

Antigua - English Harbour

Step aboard at English Harbour, home to Nelson’s Dockyard, the beautifully restored Georgian naval base. Explore the historic quays, swim in a nearby cove, and settle aboard for the first night in one of the Caribbean’s great harbours.

Day 3

Barbuda

Sail north to remote Barbuda, ringed by miles of deserted beach, some tinged a delicate pink, and home to a vast frigate-bird sanctuary. Anchor off the empty sand, snorkel the reefs, and revel in the solitude.
Day 4

Nevis

Cruise south to Nevis, a perfect volcanic cone wreathed in cloud and cloaked in green, its capital of Charlestown lined with colonial charm. Wander ashore, swim from a palm-fringed beach, and take in the island’s calm.
Day 5

St Kitts

Continue to St Kitts, dominated by the mighty hilltop fortress of Brimstone Hill, a UNESCO site. Explore its lush interior, swim in a clear bay, and anchor beneath the green volcanic slopes for the evening.
Day 6

Guadeloupe

Sail to Guadeloupe, butterfly-shaped heart of the French Caribbean, where rainforest, waterfalls and creole cuisine await. Anchor off Deshaies, swim in the clear water, and savour a French-Caribbean dinner ashore.
Day 7

Iles des Saintes

The voyage ends at the exquisite Iles des Saintes off Guadeloupe, a cluster of little islands around one of the most beautiful bays in the world. Anchor in the glassy harbour, swim a final cove, and close the week.
