Seven hundred islands, two thousand cays and roughly thirty inhabited. The Bahamas are not a place so much as a shallow bank the size of a country, over which the water turns colours that photographs consistently fail to settle.
This route is the broad survey: the capital, the pink sand of Eleuthera, and then south into the Exumas where the cays multiply and the wildlife takes over. It suits a first visit ’ the highlights, in order, without a long passage anywhere.
Every route we shape is a starting point, not a fixed schedule. Stay a second day where the light is right, move with the weather, or follow a captain who knows the cove worth the detour. That freedom is the point of chartering. What follows is one considered way to read the Bahamas; the rest we tailor to you.
