ATLANTIS Yacht Charter

ATLANTIS was built for the way families actually cruise the Greek islands: unhurried, close to the water, and free to anchor wherever the scenery is best. She is a Lagoon 620 sailing catamaran delivered in 2020, and her twin hulls give her a shallow draft of about one and a half metres. That single number changes the holiday. The sandy shelf off a Cycladic beach, the bright turquoise cut between two islets, the sheltered corner of a Saronic bay long after the day boats have gone: these become her natural anchorages rather than places to admire from a distance.

The first thing guests notice is space. Four double cabins sleep eight, and each one sits on the water with its own view and its own bathroom. Because the accommodation is split between the two hulls, the yacht feels calm and private below while the main deck opens up completely above. Glass doors slide back to join the air conditioned salon to the shaded aft cockpit, so breakfast, lunch and the long Greek evenings all flow through one connected living space.

On deck she is generous in a way monohulls of her length cannot be. The foredeck carries trampolines and sun pads for lazy mornings at anchor. The flybridge is her social heart, a wide shaded lounge with seating, a bar and the helm, set high enough to catch the breeze and the view at the same time. A crew of three runs the yacht quietly in the background, handling the sailing, the cooking and the water toys so that guests are left with the easy part.

Her cruising ground plays to her strengths. From a base in the Saronic and across to the Cyclades she moves between islands in short, comfortable hops, sailing when the meltemi cooperates and motoring gently when it does not. Her modest cruising speed is not the point. The point is the stability of two hulls, the shade, the shallow water and the ability to tuck into coves that stay quiet all summer. Kayaks, paddleboards and snorkelling gear come out the moment the anchor is down.

Inside, the mood is bright and contemporary. Pale timber, cream upholstery and large hull windows keep the cabins full of light, and the open salon works equally well for a family lunch or a quiet drink while the galley prepares dinner. Nothing about her feels heavy or formal. She is a modern cruising catamaran designed to be lived in, and she wears that purpose with ease.

Service is unshowy and personal. With only eight guests aboard and a crew who know these waters, the days shape themselves around the group rather than a fixed programme: a long swim before breakfast, a sail to the next island for lunch, a taverna run by tender in the evening. The galley cooks around what the family wants, and the deck crew keep the water toys turning over so nobody has to ask twice. It is the kind of easy, attentive rhythm that a smaller yacht does better than a large one.

ATLANTIS suits families and small groups who want the islands without the fuss: plenty of room to spread out, plenty of shade, and a draft that keeps the best anchorages within reach. She is relaxed, capable and genuinely social, a natural choice for a Greek summer spent mostly at anchor, mostly in the water, and always close to the view.
