About Awandra

Awandra arrives at the very front of the fleet. Delivered by Baglietto in 2025 and named the best displacement motor yacht of her class at the 2026 World Superyacht Awards, she is a 52-metre statement of what a modern Italian yard can do when design and engineering pull in the same direction. Exterior and interior both come from Francesco Paszkowski, and the result is a yacht that reads as one coherent idea from the waterline to the mast.

Her lines are long, low and quietly confident, built around volume rather than spectacle. Displacement yachts of this size are made for the way charter guests actually travel, steady at anchor, calm underway, and easy on fuel across a long Mediterranean season. Awandra cruises at eleven knots and carries the space and stability to make a week feel unhurried. Stabilisers hold her level at rest, and long side decks make moving around the yacht effortless.

Water is everywhere on board. The aft deck holds a generous pool set among sun pads and shaded seating, and a second spa pool sits forward on the sun deck beneath a sculpted hardtop, framing a dining table and a bar with the horizon behind. A fold-down swim platform opens a full beach club to the sea, turning the stern into a lounge at the waterline whenever the yacht is at rest. Below the main deck, a spa and shower area gives guests a quiet corner to unwind after a day in the sun.

Inside, Paszkowski works in warm oak, bleached timber and soft, curved forms. The main saloon is built around a circular sofa and a run of glass, the dining sits a few steps away beneath original artwork, and the whole main deck flows without hard edges. Up a level, a lighter sky lounge opens to the view on three sides, a relaxed room for films, cards or a quiet afternoon out of the sun.

Awandra accommodates ten guests across six cabins. The owner’s suite is a bright, spacious room with its own seating area and a wall of glass, and the guest cabins mix doubles and a twin, each finished in the same restrained palette with generous natural light and a private bathroom. Storage is generous throughout, and the layout keeps guest and service flow cleanly apart. A crew of nine runs the yacht with the discretion a new build of this quality deserves.

As a charter proposition Awandra is unusually complete. She has the pedigree of an award-winning new build, the volume of a much larger yacht, two pools, a proper beach club and interiors that feel considered rather than showy. Her natural home is the Western Mediterranean, moving between the French and Italian rivieras, Corsica, Sardinia and the Balearics through the summer.

For a party that wants the newest and best rather than the most familiar, she is a rare thing on the charter market, a fresh, award-winning yacht with the space, the water features and the design intelligence to carry a full week with ease. Awandra is modern in the truest sense, and she rewards guests who notice the details.
