KALIMERA is a 31.1 metre Cantieri di Pisa, an Italian motor yacht from one of the oldest names in the business, built in 2003 and brought right up to date by a full refit in 2025. She takes her name from the Greek word for good morning, and it suits her: she is a warm, sociable yacht built for long, easy days in the sun. For a family or a group who want to explore the Greek islands together, with room for twelve guests across five cabins, she is a generous and well kept choice.
Her point of difference is the space she gives on deck. Wide teak decks run the length of her, laid out for the outdoor life the Mediterranean is made for, and a spa pool is set into the deck among the sun pads, the natural place to cool off and lie in the sun through a hot afternoon. The aft deck carries a large dining table under shade, the sun decks lay out with loungers and seating, and there is always a quiet corner to be found away from the group.
Inside, the mood is warm and traditional. The main salon runs the width of the yacht in glowing timber, with low sofas gathered around tables and wide windows down both sides that keep the coast in view. It is a calm and generous room, bright and open by day and warm as the light goes, with seating zones enough for the whole party to gather together or break away in twos and threes with a book or a drink as they please.
Accommodation is for twelve guests across five cabins, so KALIMERA carries a full party in comfort. The master is a wide double with a dark upholstered headboard and mirrored panels that open the room out, and the further cabins, three more doubles and a twin, are finished in the same warm timber with their own bathrooms. The twin carries a Pullman berth for a child, and the layout suits several families or a group of friends travelling together with everyone properly looked after.
A crew of six run her, a generous number for her size, and it shows in the everyday of a charter here. Meals appear on the shaded aft deck, the spa pool is kept ready, the tender and water toys are launched the moment the anchor is down, and the smaller comforts are quietly taken care of. She is a yacht that has been loved and maintained, and the care of her crew turns a week aboard into something closer to being looked after in a friend’s house on the water.
Her home water is Greece, and she is well matched to it. From the Saronic islands near Athens across to the Cyclades, the anchorages sit close together, the water is clear and the towns come alive after dark for dinner ashore, while her range and steadiness make the longer crossings easy. With her deck spa pool, her wide shaded decks and a crew of six, KALIMERA offers a warm and sociable way to cruise the Greek islands with room for the whole family aboard.
