About WORLD’S END

Built in 2011 by Fountaine Pajot and freshened in a 2024 refit, WORLD’S END is a Galathea 65 sailing catamaran that trades the constraints of a monohull for the space and serenity of twin hulls. At just under 20 metres overall with a generous 9.5-metre beam, she delivers the deck area and interior volume of a vessel twice her displacement, all while drawing barely 1.3 metres and opening up the shallow coves and sand-fringed anchorages that larger yachts can only admire from a distance.

Her sailing rig sets the tone for the charter: when the Meltemi fills, the crew sheet in and the engines fall silent, leaving only the hiss of the hulls through the Aegean. Under power she cruises comfortably at nine knots with a top speed of twelve, a pace that turns each island hop into a leisurely pleasure rather than a long passage. A crew of three manages every aspect of the voyage, from provisioning and meal preparation to tender launches and water-toy deployment, ensuring that guests never have to choose between adventure and relaxation.

On deck, the Galathea 65 platform reads like an architect’s brief for outdoor living. The aft cockpit doubles as an open-air dining room shaded by the coachroof, with a table that seats ten beneath the stars. Forward, the signature overwater hammock nets stretch between the bows, suspending guests just above the waterline for an afternoon spent reading, dozing or watching reef fish circle below. Sun-pads line the foredeck for those who prefer a firmer surface, and a generous swim platform aft drops to the waterline for effortless access to paddleboards, snorkelling gear and the tender.

Below decks, five en-suite cabins accommodate up to ten guests in comfort that belies the yacht’s modest length. The full-beam master stateroom occupies one hull with a king-size berth, wrap-around windows and its own shower compartment. A VIP cabin of near-equal stature sits opposite in the second hull, finished in warm cherry-wood joinery. Three further guest cabins, including a twin, complete the plan, each fitted with individual climate control and natural ventilation via opening portholes.

The main-deck saloon is a single bright, open-plan volume that brings the galley, dining and lounge together under a sweep of panoramic glazing. Neutral-toned upholstery and warm timber floors keep the mood relaxed, while a banquette forward seats the full complement for unhurried suppers framed by the anchorage ahead. The galley is integrated rather than hidden, letting the crew prepare meals as part of the social flow rather than behind a closed door.

Available from EUR 20,500 per week in the summer low season and rising to EUR 28,500 at peak, WORLD’S END splits her year between the Greek islands in summer and the Seychelles in winter, two of the most desirable warm-water cruising grounds on the planet. Whether the itinerary calls for the whitewashed drama of the Cyclades, the quiet coves of the Ionian or the granite-and-turquoise palette of the Seychelles outer islands, this Fountaine Pajot catamaran delivers the space, silence and shallow draught to reach places other charter yachts simply cannot.
