Twin MAN V8 diesels of 900 hp each (D2848LE423) push the 54 Fly to 33.5 knots flat out and a 28-knot cruise.
Contained weights and a 2,800-litre fuel load give a 300-nautical-mile cruising range, with a soft, dry ride that is the hallmark of the De Simoni hull.
The flybridge is the 54 Fly’s addition: a full upper deck with a second helm, seating and sunpads set above the main saloon.
Below it the familiar Austin Parker sheer, walkaround decks and enclosed hard-top saloon are untouched, so the yacht gains volume without losing its proportions.
Three cabins sleep six across a flexible layout served by two heads.
Glass and polished joinery run through the galley and the accommodation below, where the cabins are arranged for elegant, private nights at anchor.
Life aboard the 54 Fly spreads across three levels: the sheltered main-deck saloon and cockpit, and the open flybridge above.
The saloon opens aft to the cockpit for single-level entertaining, while the fly becomes the social centre under way and at anchor.
Built in laminated GRP to CE Category A, the 54 Fly is made for extended cruising.
The MAN V8 package is robust and well supported, and the flybridge layout keeps the model in steady demand on the used market.
