A retractable hardtop and a windscreen shaped for a clear view are the first clues that this Gran Turismo has grown up.
Nuvolari Lenard’s lines keep the GT41 low and taut for her length, carrying the family look of the smaller Gran Turismos through to a genuinely larger scale. The windscreen is shaped specifically for unobstructed sightlines from the helm, a detail that matters more on a boat built for real distance than on a pure day boat. At 12.7 metres length overall on a beam of just under four metres, with a shallow 1.2 metre draught, she keeps the sporty, low slung profile of the range while carrying enough hull to make the extra length feel earned rather than added on.
The hull does most of the work before the engines even get involved.
Beneteau’s Air Step technology cuts tunnels into the running surface that trap a cushion of air beneath the hull, cutting wetted surface and drag as she comes onto the plane. Lifting strakes add stability at speed, and Zipwake interceptors adjust automatically to keep her level through turns and against a following sea, technology usually reserved for larger yachts. Twin Volvo Penta D6 380hp diesels, engineered in-house at Beneteau, drive her to a 35 knot top speed and a 25 knot cruise, and CAT B certification for offshore use backs up what the hull design promises on paper.
Drop the retractable hardtop and the same deck goes from sheltered saloon to open air cockpit in moments.
A midships dinette sits between two full side decks, a detail the smaller Gran Turismos cannot offer, making it easy to move fore and aft without cutting through the seating. Forward, a sun pad with lowering backrests and its own awning turns the bow into genuine deck space rather than a place to simply sit still. The galley and dining table share a central hall between the two cabins below, keeping cooking and eating away from the sleeping areas, a small distinction that changes how a boat feels once guests are aboard for more than an afternoon.
Two cabins, each with its own door, on a boat that still feels like a sportsboat from the cockpit.
The forward master sits in the bow with decent headroom and space that feels genuinely livable rather than squeezed in to fit a brochure claim. A separate twin guest cabin midships gives a second couple, or two children, their own room rather than a curtained corner, a layout choice that sets the 41 apart from day boats of a similar length. Good sized furniture throughout and Andreani Design’s interior work avoid the cramped feeling that catches out many boats in this size bracket, with sleeping capacity for four across the two cabins.
CAT B certified for offshore use, and priced to sit clearly above her smaller siblings without stepping into flagship territory.
Beneteau Powerboats handles naval architecture and in-house engineering, with Nuvolari Lenard responsible for the exterior lines and Andreani Design for the interior, the same pairing of talents that shapes every Gran Turismo. Twin Volvo Penta D6 380hp diesels come as standard, with an 800 litre fuel tank supporting a 200 nautical mile range. Day guest capacity runs to eight and sleeping capacity to four, and at around 350,000 euros new, she asks a genuine premium over the 36 for the extra length, the extra cabin privacy and the retractable hardtop that neither smaller model offers.
