The flare in her hull is not decoration. It is the whole design brief.
Andreani Design drew a profile that stays close to trawler tradition, deep bow flare, a raised sedan style saloon and a practical sheer, rather than chasing a sportier silhouette. Full walkaround decks run the length of the boat, edged with stainless rails and leather covered handrails, so moving forward to the anchor or aft to the swim platform never means climbing over anything. A foredeck daybed and a Rocna anchor on a proper winch complete a bow that is as usable as it is good looking. Nothing here is styled for a boat show stand. Every line answers a question about how the yacht is actually used at sea.
Twin engines and 1,200 litres of fuel give the 41 Sedan the kind of range that removes anxiety from a passage.
Twin Volvo Penta diesels at 300 horsepower each carry her to a cruising speed of 16 knots, covering 180 nautical miles before she needs to refuel, with a 23 knot top end in reserve for when time matters more than economy. Twin engines also mean twin redundancy: a genuine consideration for owners planning longer coastal runs or open crossings rather than day trips. Lenco trim tabs and twin bow and stern thrusters round out a boat built to be managed confidently by a small crew or a competent owner operator, whatever the conditions on the day.
The helm here is built for hours, not minutes.
Twin adjustable seats work seated or standing, with clear sightlines forward and a Raymarine display integrating autopilot and navigation. One seat rotates and drops to double as dining seating when the boat is at anchor, a small detail that saves real space on a 41 footer. Outside, the swim platform folds away a ladder when not needed, and davits are available for a tender, keeping the transom clean when guests are aboard. Lazarette storage swallows fenders, lines and gear that would otherwise clutter the cockpit, leaving the aft deck free for the business of actually enjoying the water.
Two cabins, sleeping six, laid out around a saloon that never feels like a corridor.
The master holds an island berth with full headroom and its own ensuite, set apart from the second cabin and its day head with shower. Alpi oak woodwork runs throughout, with teak available for owners who want a warmer, more traditional finish, and laminated Rovere Aleve floorboards keep the saloon practical underfoot. The galley carries a triple burner hob, a proper oven and twin sinks rather than a compressed camping style setup, and a fold up exterior serving bench lets meals move outside without a second trip below. Wraparound saloon seating and a drop leaf table complete a space built for a family living aboard for real stretches of time.
Independent sea trials have rated the 41 Sedan highly for handling, economy and build quality, a boat that performs as seriously as she is finished.
Built by Beneteau Powerboats under its own naval architecture and engineering, she measures 13.4 metres overall on a 4.2 metre beam, drawing 1.2 metres and displacing 11 tonnes. New pricing starts from 480,000 euros, positioning her between the smaller 35 and the larger flybridge models in the range. GRP construction through hand lay up, resin infusion and injection moulding keeps the hull both light and strong, contributing to fuel efficiency that outperforms similarly sized yachts. For a buyer weighing genuine passage making capability against family comfort, the 41 Sedan sits at a considered point in the range.
