Hallberg Rassy / Hallberg Rassy 44 Mk II
The Hallberg-Rassy 44 Mk II represents the next evolution of the acclaimed HR 44 center cockpit cruiser, arriving with 30 carefully considered improvements across exterior and interior. Designed by Germán Frers and built to CE Category A standards for unlimited ocean voyaging, this 13.68-meter sailing yacht combines Swedish craftsmanship with modern innovation.
Key Mk II enhancements include redesigned portlights for improved natural light, an upgraded swim platform, optional carbon rigging for weight savings and performance, a refined interior with horizontal grain woodwork, lowered bulkheads creating a more spacious feel below decks, and premium soft-closing drawers throughout. The hull and rig dimensions remain proven — the same 4.20m beam and 106.5 m² sail area (with genoajib) that made the original a transatlantic favorite.
Powered by the reliable Volvo Penta D2-75 (55 kW), the 44 Mk II offers comfortable cruising at 8 knots. With 420 liters of fuel and 745 liters of freshwater, she is well provisioned for extended passages. Two private cabins accommodate up to six overnight guests. Presented at the Hallberg-Rassy Open Yard in August 2026 as a 2027 model, orders are open now.
