Intrepid / Intrepid 35 Valor
The Intrepid 35 Valor is a high-performance express day boat that represents the ultimate triple-threat: confident offshore fishing, high-speed island hopping, and refined dayboat entertaining. Measuring 35 feet (10.67 meters) in length with a generous 10-foot-6-inch (3.2-meter) beam, the 35 Valor delivers an ideal balance of agility and space.
Powered by twin Mercury 425 V10 outboard engines, the 35 Valor reaches exhilarating top speeds of 60–62 mph while cruising efficiently at 40–41.5 mph. Intrepid’s proprietary stepped hull technology reduces drag by introducing air beneath the hull, creating a smooth and stable ride even in challenging offshore conditions.
A standout feature is the below-deck climate-controlled cabin with sleeping quarters and premium amenities, providing a comfortable refuge that transforms a day on the water into an overnight adventure. The flexible deck layout accommodates up to 10 passengers with multiple seating and entertaining configurations.
With a 335-gallon fuel capacity providing an estimated range of 365 miles, the 35 Valor is equally suited for extended fishing trips and weekend cruises. Constructed using advanced resin infusion technology at Intrepid’s Stuart, Florida facility, every detail reflects the brand’s commitment to American craftsmanship and uncompromising quality.

Sixty two miles an hour and a 41mph cruise put the 35 Valor firmly in Intrepid’s performance tier.
Her stepped hull introduces air beneath the running surface to cut drag and lift the bow, the same approach that defines every modern Intrepid, tuned here to a shorter, 10.7 metre platform that turns and accelerates with real agility. Standard twin 425hp Mercury V10 outboards do the work, with a 400hp V10 pairing offered for owners who would rather trade a little top speed for easier running costs. At just under seven tonnes, she stays light enough to ride the chop rather than fight it, which matters as much offshore as the number on the speedometer.
An oversized sunpad up front tells you how this boat is meant to be used.
The bow carries a generous sunpad with adjustable backrests, built for lounging rather than simply sitting, and the cockpit follows the same brief with flexible seating that reconfigures for fishing, cruising or entertaining without needing tools or a second thought. Dual 17 inch Garmin displays sit at the helm rather than buried in a panel, keeping the whole console clean and legible at speed. Nothing about her deck feels like it was left over from a bigger model. Every surface earns its place on a hull this size.
Below deck, the 35 Valor keeps her promise of a genuine overnight option.
A single cabin holds a convertible queen berth, an electric head and a separate shower, a trio that is unusual at 35 feet and turns what looks like a day boat into a genuine weekend platform for two. On deck, the layout comfortably hosts up to ten guests for a run out or a sunset gathering at anchor, with the cabin tucked away below rather than eating into the cockpit’s usable space. It is a tight, well considered use of a compact footprint rather than a compromise.
Control on the 35 Valor is centralised, not scattered across a dozen switches.
Joystick docking and an integrated autopilot take the guesswork out of close quarters work and long runs alike, while digital switching routes the boat’s systems through the dual Garmin displays rather than a wall of physical buttons. Seakeeper stabilisation is available for a calmer ride at rest, and dedicated fishing packages let an owner tilt the boat toward serious offshore work when that is the priority for the day. The whole helm is built around doing one thing well at a time, run cleanly from a single position.
The numbers behind the 35 Valor are modest on paper and considerable on the water.
A 1,268 litre fuel capacity, close to 335 US gallons, gives her an estimated 365 mile range, among the best in her class for a boat this size. A shallow 0.9 metre draught opens up water that larger sportfishing boats simply cannot reach, while a displacement of around seven tonnes keeps her light enough for the stepped hull to do its job properly. Built using Intrepid’s resin infusion process at the builder’s Stuart, Florida facility, she is engineered to the same standard as every larger boat in the range, just scaled down.
