Royal Huisman has built custom yachts on the shores of the Dutch IJsselmeer since 1884. The yard works almost exclusively in aluminium and composite, and it has become the reference builder for owners who want large sailing yachts engineered to the same standard as the finest motor yachts. Rondal, its in house rig and deck hardware company, lets Royal Huisman control the parts of a sailing yacht that matter most, from carbon masts to captive winches.
The current fleet is defined by scale and ambition. Projects such as the 60 metre Sarissa, the schooner Sea Eagle II and the sloop SKY show a yard comfortable at the very top of the sailing market, where each yacht is a one off developed with leading naval architects and designers. Royal Huisman also builds displacement motor yachts and offers a small number of ready to build designs that shorten the usual development time.
For a buyer, Royal Huisman represents the meeting point of Dutch engineering discipline and genuine custom freedom. These are yachts built to be sailed hard and owned for decades, with the structural integrity, systems redundancy and finish quality that justify a place among the most respected names afloat.
