The Mangusta Maxi Open 165E is the evolution of the model that defined the maxi open category. At 49.9 metres, she pairs the sculpted, low-slung profile Mangusta is known for with genuine open-water performance, reaching speeds of up to 35 knots on a GRP planing hull driven by MTU engines and KaMeWa waterjets.
The open layout puts life on deck at the centre of the design: a vast sunbathing and lounging area aft, a garage for tenders and toys, and clean sightlines from the helm. Below, she accommodates up to 10 guests in four staterooms, with quarters for a crew of nine.
Built by Overmarine in Viareggio, the 165E has been produced across multiple hulls and remains one of the most recognisable fast yachts on the water, combining sportscar aesthetics with the range to move between cruising grounds at speed.
