PRINCESS M is a 20 metre Azimut Magellano delivered in 2025, one of the most versatile motor yachts of her size for a family holiday along the Croatian coast. The Magellano line is built around a long-range semi-displacement hull, which gives her an easy, sea-kindly motion and the range to reach the quieter islands rather than only the busy marinas. She sleeps eight guests in four cabins and is run by a professional crew of two.
The main deck saloon is calm and full of light, with a soft lounge at one end and a dining area at the other, both wrapped by large windows that frame the passing coastline. Pale timber, cream upholstery and restrained detailing keep the room feeling open and uncluttered, and glass doors link it to the aft cockpit so meals can move outside whenever the weather allows. The layout is designed for a family to spread out and still stay together.
The flybridge is where much of the day happens. It carries an outdoor dining table, a lounge and sunpads under a partial bimini, so guests can take sun or shade as they please while the yacht is under way or at anchor. Forward, a generous sunpad on the foredeck is a favourite spot for the morning swim stop, and the aft cockpit gives a shaded, sheltered place to sit close to the water at the end of the day.
Below, the accommodation is arranged over four cabins. The full-beam master sits amidships where the motion is gentlest, with hull windows on both sides, a large bed and an ensuite bathroom. A double and two twin cabins complete the layout, making the yacht as suitable for a family with children as for two couples travelling together. Every cabin has its own bathroom finished in stone and timber, and the twins convert to suit different groups.
Under way PRINCESS M is quiet and economical. She cruises comfortably at around seventeen knots with a top speed near twenty-two, and the semi-displacement hull means she can slow down and keep going when the plan calls for a longer passage between islands. That flexibility, the choice between a fast hop and a relaxed cruise, is what sets the Magellano apart from a conventional planing flybridge yacht.
Being new for 2025, everything on board is current and generously equipped, from the air conditioning and the entertainment systems to the tender and the water toys the crew launch at each swim stop. The quiet, efficient hull also means the yacht can run early or late in the day to catch the best light and the calmest seas, so mornings can start with a swim before the first other boats arrive and evenings can end at anchor well away from the marina crowds. It is a boat that rewards a slower, more considered kind of cruising.
With a crew of two looking after the running of the yacht and the service on board, PRINCESS M makes an easy and comfortable base for exploring the Adriatic. From the islands off Split and Hvar to the coves of the Kornati, she has the range, the deck space and the quiet, modern comfort to turn a week afloat into a proper family holiday.
