CHRISTAL MIO is the flagship of Fountaine Pajot’s Power range, a Power 67 launched in 2020 that answers a simple question: what if a power catamaran gave you the space and stability of a much larger yacht without the draft or the running costs. She takes the hull and the volume of the acclaimed Alegria 67 sailing catamaran and reworks them around engines, and the result is a wide, calm, endlessly social yacht that chartering families settle into within minutes.
Space is her first argument. Two hulls give her a beam a monohull of her length could never carry, so the accommodation, the salon and the decks all feel a size up. Ten guests sleep in five cabins, each with its own bathroom, and the yacht stays level and quiet at anchor thanks to the twin-hull form. The interior is contemporary and warm, finished with soft rounded shapes, pale timber and large panes of glass that keep every space bright and connected to the water.
The main deck is where she comes alive. A generous aft cockpit runs as the heart of outdoor living, with sunbathing areas, an alfresco dining setting and a galley fitted with a plancha grill, all opening straight off the salon so nothing feels separate from the sea. Above, the flybridge stretches out as a wide social deck for lounging and dining, high enough to catch the breeze and the long view together. Forward, a private foredeck with a spa pool gives couples somewhere quiet to slip away for the afternoon.
Her layout is built around the galley-up idea, which keeps the chef part of the day rather than tucked below. Guests drift between the counter, the salon and the cockpit while lunch comes together, and the whole main deck works as one connected room. It is an easy, unforced way to spend a week, and it suits the Greek islands perfectly, where the day is shaped by swimming, long lunches and the next quiet anchorage.
The owner’s suite is a genuine apartment. It runs across real volume, with a dressing area, a sofa lounge and direct private access to the foredeck, and the ensuite carries twin vanities and a walk-in shower. The four further guest cabins are queen doubles, each ensuite and finished to the same calm standard, so no one aboard feels they drew the short cabin. It is a democratic layout, which is exactly what a family or a group of friends wants.
From a base in Greece she moves in short, comfortable hops between the Cyclades and the mainland coast, her shallow draft opening up the sandy shelves and bright turquoise bays that a deep keel has to pass by. A crew of four runs the sailing, the cooking and the water toys, and the seabob, paddleboards, snorkelling gear and tender keep the water busy from the moment the anchor drops. She is quiet under way, stable at rest and quick enough to reposition when the group wants a change of scene.
CHRISTAL MIO suits families and groups who want light, space and an easy pace: five equal ensuite cabins, a foredeck spa pool, a wide flybridge and the shallow-draft freedom that only a catamaran brings. She is modern, considered and genuinely sociable, a relaxed base for a Greek summer spent mostly at anchor and mostly in the sea.
