SILVER FOX is the 72-metre flagship of Sanlorenzo’s new 74Steel series and one of the most talked-about charter yachts to launch in 2026. Her exterior lines are the work of Zuccon International Project, while her sculptural, organic interior comes from Francesco Paszkowski Design in collaboration with Margherita Casprini. More than simply the largest yacht the yard has built, she represents a statement of intent: a demonstration that scale need not mean excess, pairing restraint and precision with genuinely forward-thinking engineering.
At the heart of that engineering is a diesel-electric hybrid propulsion system, developed in-house with Siemens Energy, which allows SILVER FOX to run silently at anchor on a battery bank with no exhaust fumes, and to operate at roughly half the fuel consumption of a conventional yacht of her size. Beyond its environmental benefits, the layout frees up technical space that has been repurposed for leisure, resulting in a beach club and wellness area significantly larger than guests might expect.
Wellness is the defining theme aboard. Making full use of her 13.1-metre beam, the yacht offers a comprehensive spa with a massage room, sauna, hammam and plunge pool, alongside a dedicated family room for younger guests. The beach club is illuminated from above by a glass-bottomed pool, casting shifting light across the sea-level lounge, while the gym and recovery spaces have made her a natural fit for the wellness-focused charters that have already drawn fashion and fitness names aboard during the Riviera season.
SILVER FOX accommodates twelve guests across eight cabins. The owner enjoys a private deck complete with a hot-tub terrace, a lounge and an office, served by spa-inspired bathrooms, while the main deck is given over largely to guests, arranged with lounge and dining areas and five ensuite cabins. Among these is a striking full-beam VIP suite with its own salon, separated from the sleeping area by sliding panels to create an intimate, apartment-like retreat. Additional convertible cabins and a four-bunk children’s room offer flexibility for families and larger parties.
Her exterior spaces are designed to impress. The sun deck is set to be the main social hub, complete with a bar, a forward firepit, a Jacuzzi and oversized lounging areas sheltered beneath a glass windbreak and hardtop. A touch-and-go helipad allows discreet transfers, and a sports court on the bow can be set up for pickleball, basketball or football. Two tender garages amidships house a limousine tender and the crew tender alongside a range of water toys.
Inside, matte timber finishes and an eclectic mix of materials lend warmth and individuality, while the main salon doubles as a cinema with a large-format screen for relaxed evenings. A crew of twenty-one, including a dedicated media team able to capture cinematic footage of the charter, ensures guests are looked after to the highest standard throughout.
Powered by her hybrid system, SILVER FOX cruises efficiently and carries the range for long passages, and she divides her year between summers in the Mediterranean and winters in the Caribbean. For charterers seeking a brand-new, design-led yacht with wellness at its core, she offers a rare combination of innovation, space and style.
