KING BABY is a 43.9-metre motor yacht built by IAG Yachts and delivered in 2016, with a multi-million-dollar refit completed in 2023. Designed by the renowned Evan K. Marshall, her interior is unlike anything else afloat in the 44-metre class: a deeply personal, boldly executed rock and roll aesthetic that incorporates Keith Richardsu2019 actual doors, vintage automobile hood ornaments and a curated collection of classic rock photography, all within contemporary yacht construction of the highest quality.
Marshall took the brief seriously rather than whimsically. The result is an interior that has genuine character: the rock collection is chosen rather than assembled, the photography is curated rather than wallpapered and the doors are real rather than referential. The 2023 refit replaced carpets, flooring in the formal dining area and all cabin linens while preserving the distinctive character that makes KING BABY so memorable.
The sun deck is centred on a Jacuzzi with a three-tier cascading waterfall and a large onyx swim-up bar, one of the most spectacular sun deck features on any 44-metre motor yacht. A sky lounge provides cinema-quality entertainment below. Accommodation sleeps 10 guests across five staterooms (master, VIP, two doubles, one twin) with a crew of nine, based in the Caribbean.
The main deck aft of King Baby is the primary outdoor social space: a covered area with comfortable built-in seating, a dining table and a natural connection to the swim platform. Whether for casual lunches or formal dinners under the stars, this deck delivers atmosphere and practicality in equal measure.
The main salon of King Baby is the centrepiece of the interior: a generous open-plan living and dining area that uses carefully chosen materials, furniture and lighting to create a space that feels both refined and genuinely comfortable. Large windows ensure natural light throughout the day, and the flow between the salon and the aft deck makes indoor-outdoor living effortless for every guest.
The master suite of King Baby occupies the best position on the yacht for privacy and natural light. A king-sized bed, ample storage, sitting area, his-and-hers dressing facilities and a premium stone en-suite bathroom with both shower and bath create a private retreat comparable to the finest suite in any five-star hotel.
The sun deck of King Baby is the highest and most panoramic outdoor space on board: a Jacuzzi, sun pads, comfortable loungers and a bar create an environment where guests naturally gather as the afternoon light changes. Views are unobstructed in every direction.
Entertainment aboard King Baby centres on a dedicated cinema space with high-quality audio-visual equipment. A large-format screen, premium sound system and comfortable seating make for a genuinely cinematic experience at sea. The system extends to all salons and several exterior deck areas, so guests are never far from their preferred content.
The 5 staterooms of King Baby accommodate 10 guests overnight in surroundings that match the quality of the master suite in materials and detail. Several cabins convert between double and twin configuration, and all are equipped with en-suite bathroom, ample storage, individual climate control and full entertainment systems.
