About Akira One

AKIRA ONE is proof that a family charter doesn’t have to mean compromise. Benetti built her in 1998, and a full interior and exterior refit in 2022 reset her from the deck down, but the layout has always understood something a lot of larger yachts miss: a genuinely good family week depends on where the kids sleep as much as where the adults do.

One of the six staterooms is fitted out specifically for children, with a proper bunk rather than a squeezed-in third berth or a pull-out sofa. It sits alongside two lower-deck VIP cabins, each pairing a queen bed with its own jacuzzi, and an upper-deck double with its own ensuite. The full-beam master suite occupies the main deck on its own, king-size bed included, with an ensuite and a private hot tub that make it function as a suite rather than just a larger cabin.

Zuretti and Luxury Projects handled the interior refit, and the main saloon reflects the brief: white sofas, light surfaces, a room built to feel calm rather than formal. The sky lounge one level up leans the other way, styled in blue and set up for evenings that run later, PS4 and karaoke included for a group that wants entertainment options built in rather than left to a phone and a speaker. A backlit bar and a separate study give the adults somewhere to retreat to once the kids’ cabin has gone quiet, and the formal dining room seats the full party at a single table when the whole group eats together.

Outside, the sundeck carries a hot tub and a BBQ station, and the swim platform is built wide enough to launch and recover a genuinely extensive water toy collection, jet skis and windsurf gear included. Forward, a set of sunpads gives the group a second, quieter deck to spread out on, away from whatever is happening around the hot tub, and the aft deck adds a third option again for breakfasts that run long. The yacht carries RYA Training Center recognition, which matters for charter families who want their teenagers actually taught to use the toys rather than just handed them.

Twin MTU engines give her an 18-knot top speed and a 3,000-nautical-mile range, enough to move around the Greek islands without every relocation eating into the week. Eleven crew run the yacht, a ratio built for a mixed group of adults and children rather than a light couples charter, and one that keeps an eye on the water toys without hovering over the sundeck.

Chartering the Mediterranean and Greece from April through September, AKIRA ONE suits multi-generational families and groups who want a full week of real activity, not a yacht optimised purely for looking impressive at anchor. Six staterooms, four of them doubles, in a genuinely varied set of configurations, mean the group can be mixed without anyone drawing the short straw on the cabin. Few yachts her size manage to feel this equally built for a ten-year-old and a grandparent, or this relaxed about the two sharing a deck.
