Panama: Pearl Islands & San Blas Charter Itinerary

Panama: Pearl Islands & San Blas Itinerary

Panama: Pearl Islands & San Blas Yacht Charter
A week that crosses a continent, from the Pearl Islands of the Pacific through the Panama Canal to the idyllic San Blas archipelago on the Caribbean. This is a voyage of contrasts, wild reserves and chic island beaches, an engineering wonder of the world, and 365 palm-topped isles of the Guna people. Expect nesting seabirds and hand-stitched molas, a canal transit and turquoise cays, a genuinely unique route.

Every route we shape is a starting point, not a fixed schedule. Stay a second day where the light is right, move with the weather, or follow a captain to a quieter anchorage. What follows is one considered way to read it; the rest we tailor to you.
Day 1

Panama City & the Pearl Islands

Step aboard near Panama City and sail into the Gulf of Panama to the Pearl Islands, a lush archipelago scattered across the Pacific. Anchor off a golden beach and swim in the warm water as the city recedes.
Day 2

Isla Contadora & the Pearl Islands

Explore the beautiful Pearl Islands, from chic Contadora with its golden beaches to wild, uninhabited isles ringed by reefs. Snorkel the clear water, laze on the sand, and enjoy the varied archipelago.
Day 3

Isla Iguana & the Coast

Cruise the Pacific coast to wildlife-rich reserves such as Isla Iguana, ringed by coral reefs and alive with nesting seabirds. Snorkel the reef, watch the birds, and anchor in a quiet bay.
Day 4

The Panama Canal

Today experience one of the engineering wonders of the world, transiting the Panama Canal from the Pacific to the Caribbean. Watch the great locks rise and fall, an unforgettable day of passage.
Day 5

The San Blas Islands

Arrive in the idyllic San Blas archipelago, some 365 islands of white sand and swaying palms in impossibly clear turquoise water. Anchor off a palm islet, swim in the shallows, and drink in the beauty.
Day 6

Guna Yala

Spend the day among the San Blas islands and the culture of Guna Yala, visiting a village to see the famous molas, intricate hand-stitched textiles. Meet the Guna, then anchor off an empty cay.
Day 7

The Holandes Cays

The voyage ends among the Holandes Cays, the most beautiful and remote group in the San Blas, a scattering of palm islets around clear lagoons. Snorkel a final reef and toast a coast-to-coast week.
