Tuamotu Atolls Charter Itinerary

Tuamotu Atolls Itinerary

Tuamotu Atolls Yacht Charter
A week through the Tuamotu Atolls, a scattering of coral rings across the South Pacific where the diving is among the finest on earth. This is French Polynesia beyond the high islands, immense lagoons and shark-filled passes, pink-sand beaches and water of staggering clarity. Expect UNESCO biosphere reefs and drift dives through the passes, uninhabited atolls and dolphin-rich currents, a voyage for lovers of the underwater world.

Every route we shape is a starting point, not a fixed schedule. Stay a second day where the light is right, move with the weather, or follow a captain to a quieter anchorage. What follows is one considered way to read it; the rest we tailor to you.
Day 1

Rangiroa

Step aboard at Rangiroa, one of the largest atolls in the world, its lagoon so vast the far shore dips below the horizon. Anchor in the clear water, snorkel the reef, and settle into atoll time.
Day 2

Tiputa Pass

Spend the day at the famous Tiputa Pass, where the tide surges between ocean and lagoon and dolphins ride the current. Drift dive or snorkel the pass among sharks, rays and dolphins, an exhilarating day.
Day 3

Rangiroa Lagoon

Cruise across the immense Rangiroa lagoon to the Blue Lagoon, a lagoon within a lagoon of impossibly turquoise water ringed by pink-sand motu. Swim in the shallows, snorkel the coral, and laze on the sand.
Day 4

Fakarava

Sail to Fakarava, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and the most celebrated dive destination in the Tuamotus. Anchor near the North Pass, dive the vibrant reef, and take in the protected wilderness.
Day 5

Fakarava South Pass

Cruise to the remote South Pass of Fakarava, famous for its wall of sharks, where hundreds of grey reef sharks gather in the current. Dive or snorkel the pass, an unforgettable underwater spectacle.
Day 6

Tikehau

Sail to Tikehau, a ring of pink-sand beaches around a lagoon Jacques Cousteau found to be the richest in fish in all of French Polynesia. Snorkel the coral, laze on the pink sand, and swim in the clear water.
Day 7

Toau

The voyage ends at the uninhabited atoll of Toau, anchoring in the sheltered cove of Anse Amyot. Snorkel the vibrant coral, swim in the glassy water, and toast a week among the atolls.
