The Portofino 48 answers a specific brief: a boat that behaves like a day boat but carries the volume for weekends away. The profile is low and purposeful, and the upper saloon holds most of the boat’s social life, with the helm placed so that whoever is not driving still gets the view forward. Below, a full dining arrangement makes the lower saloon usable in weather that would send a smaller sportscruiser home early.
Accommodation runs to two rooms. An owner’s stateroom and a forward VIP cabin with a double that splits into twin berths sleep four between them. A hydraulic high and low bathing platform closes the transom, turning the stern into a swimming step and giving access to the garage without lifting a tender over the side.
