Feadship occupies a particular position in yachting. The Dutch yard has built one-off custom yachts since 1949, never in series and never quickly, and the result is a charter fleet where no two yachts are alike and where engineering standards set the reference the rest of the industry measures itself against.
Our Feadship charter fleet ranges from classic hulls of the nineteen seventies and eighties, several of them beautifully maintained and still chartering, through to recent deliveries well beyond seventy metres. The common thread is build quality rather than styling. Feadship hulls are quiet, the machinery spaces are immaculate, and systems that would be optional elsewhere are simply how the yacht was built. Guests tend to notice the absence of things, vibration, noise and the smell of diesel, more than any single feature.
Rates reflect that reputation. Expect from around one hundred and fifty thousand euros a week for an older forty metre hull to well past a million for the largest recent deliveries, plus an advance provisioning allowance of roughly thirty percent. Availability is the harder constraint. Feadship owners charter selectively, and the best weeks in the Mediterranean and the Caribbean are typically committed a year ahead.
