A sauna on a seventy metre charter yacht is a purpose-built Finnish or infrared cabin set within a dedicated wellness area. At this scale, the sauna is not a retrofit or an afterthought. It sits alongside a shower, a cold plunge option and, on most builds, a neighbouring spa or steam room, creating a full thermal cycle below deck. Six charter yachts in the seventy metre band carry a sauna.
The fleet includes builds by Benetti, Heesen, ISA, Couach, CRN and Turquoise, with lengths from sixty five to seventy three metres. Most accommodate twelve guests in six or seven cabins, though Bleu de Nimes carries twenty five across thirteen cabins. Crews range from twelve to twenty five, with stewardesses trained to manage the sauna schedule and prepare the space before each session.
Weekly charter rates start at four hundred and fifty five thousand euros for Illusion, a sixty eight metre ISA, and climb to eight hundred and seventy five thousand for Lady Vera, a seventy three metre Turquoise. The median falls at five hundred and ninety thousand euros. The advance provisioning allowance, typically thirty percent, covers fuel, food, berthing and bar on top of the base fee.
Summer takes the fleet through the western Mediterranean, from Monaco and the Cote d’Azur to Sardinia, Corsica and the Croatian islands. The shoulder months bring Greece and Turkey into reach.
