Naxos works for family charters in a way that more intensely touristic Greek islands sometimes cannot. Its beaches are long and shallow, its tavernas are unpretentious, its interior villages are accessible, and the Portara at the harbour entrance gives children an immediate landmark they can connect with the stories of ancient Greece. The family-configured charter yachts accessible through Greek waters from Naxos range from 30 to 80 metres, with layouts spanning four to eight cabins, bunk configurations for younger guests, and extensive water toy selections that keep afternoons occupied without effort. A typical 50-metre family vessel carries ten to fourteen guests across five to seven cabins, with a crew of eight to twelve managing toys, meals, tenders and shore excursions. Rates range from approximately 75,000 euros per week for a 30-metre four-cabin vessel to over 700,000 euros for an 80-metre flagship.
