Staniel Cay is the operational hub for the central Exumas, providing fuel, marina facilities at Staniel Cay Yacht Club, and provisioning options that allow the crew to replenish between island legs. Charter weeks from December to April match the Bahamas high season, with February and March delivering the best combination of settled weather and vivid water colour. Rates for VSY yachts in this region start from around 160,000 euros per week and rise with vessel specification and crew complement. The advance provisioning allowance of 30 percent covers the full running cost of a large crew, daily tender fuel, and provisioning standards expected at this level of the market.
