Balearic Islands Charter Itinerary

Balearic Islands Itinerary

Balearic Islands Yacht Charter
A week across the Balearics, from cosmopolitan Palma to the beaches of Ibiza and Formentera, taking in the wild mountains of Mallorca and a protected island park along the way. This is the Mediterranean at its most varied, chic harbours and hippie coves, dramatic sierras and turquoise shallows. Expect grand cathedrals and secret anchorages, glamorous nights and blissful days, the best of the islands from the water.

Every route we shape is a starting point, not a fixed schedule. Stay a second day where the light is right, move with the weather, or follow a captain to a quieter anchorage. What follows is one considered way to read it; the rest we tailor to you.
Day 1

Palma

Begin in Palma, the richest city in Spain’s wealthiest province and a kind of baby Barcelona, its ancient harbour an alfresco fiesta. Take in the great cathedral, wander the old town, and set sail up the coast.

Day 2

Soller & Deia

Sail north to where the wild Serra de Tramuntana tumbles into the sea at Port de Soller, one long arc of sand backed by mountains. Anchor in the bay, ride the vintage tram, and explore the artists’ village of Deia.

Pollenca

Cruise to the fortified town of Pollenca, where stone townhouses and cobbled streets guard a rich culinary tradition. Climb the Calvari steps, explore the old town, and anchor off a nearby cove.

Day 4

Cabrera

Sail to the Cabrera Archipelago Maritime Park, Palma’s finest cruising ground and, until 1988, an off-limits military base. Anchor in the pristine harbour, snorkel the clear water, and enjoy the untouched nature.

Day 5

Formentera

Steer south to Formentera, the Balearics as they used to be: low-rise and blissfully low-stress. Here lie some of the loveliest beaches in the Mediterranean, long ribbons of white sand over turquoise shallows.
Day 6

Ibiza

Arrive at Ibiza, long the destination of choice for the world’s party elite, where nights promise legendary clubs and days offer hidden coves. Berth beneath the walled old town of Dalt Vila, then swim in a quiet bay.
