Norway Charter Itinerary

Norway Itinerary

Norway Yacht Charter
A ten-day ski-and-sail expedition through Arctic Norway, from Tromso south to the Lofoten Islands, where snow-clad peaks rise straight from the sea. This is adventure cruising at its most exhilarating, skinning up untouched slopes by day, returning to the yacht each evening as it repositions along the coast. Expect alpine summits and remote island villages, the aurora overhead and glassy fjords below, a voyage for those who want their wilderness with an edge.

Every route we shape is a starting point, not a fixed schedule. Stay a second day where the light is right, move with the weather, or follow a captain to a quieter anchorage. What follows is one considered way to read it; the rest we tailor to you.
Day 1

Tromso

Step aboard in Tromso, the Arctic capital, its wooden centre watched over by the striking Arctic Cathedral across the water. Explore the town and its museums, then set sail into the fjords as the peaks close in.
Day 2

Lyngen Alps

Cruise east to the Lyngen Alps, offering some of the finest ski touring in Scandinavia, an alpine range rising sheer from the sea. Skin up a pristine slope, ski back to the shore, and return aboard for the night.
Day 3

Finnsnes

Sail early to the village of Finnsnes, where the yacht anchors off the coast, freeing you to explore the surrounding peaks and quiet inlets. Tour the slopes by day and return to the calm of the fjord by dusk.
Day 4

Senja

Continue to Senja, Norway’s second-largest island, made for ski touring with its endless snowy peaks. Climb toward 1,000 metres for sweeping Arctic views, then descend to the waiting yacht below.
Day 5

Brostadbotn

Leaving the Malselv region, head north to the small town of Brostadbotn, watching for wildlife along the shore. Anchor in a sheltered bay, ski the nearby slopes, and enjoy an evening in the quiet.
Day 6

Krottoya

Cruise to the tiny island of Krottoya in the Meloyvaer archipelago, once part of a legendary Arctic kingdom. Explore the wild shore, tour the surrounding terrain, and anchor beneath the peaks.
Day 7

Ibestad

Admire the views from the yacht as you head for Ibestad, a pair of picturesque islands ringed by mountains. Ski the slopes, wander the shore, and take in the vast Arctic scenery.
Day 8

Fjelldal

Proceed south to the fishing village of Fjelldal on the eastern bank of the Tjeldsundet strait. Anchor in the sheltered water, explore ashore, and enjoy a quiet Arctic evening aboard.
