BLUE EYES is the newest generation of the Azimut Magellano 25M, delivered in 2025 and still barely run in. She is a crossover in the truest sense: the long, capable lines and dual mode hull of a proper passage maker, wrapped around a bright, contemporary interior. Ken Freivokh drew her exterior and Vincenzo De Cotiis shaped the inside, filling her with bold colour and original art that set her apart from the usual charter yacht. The result feels less like a production motor yacht and more like a small, well travelled house at sea.
Her defining quality is range with polish. The Magellano hull is built to hold a steady, economical cruise across open water, so she reaches further and rides more comfortably than a conventional planing yacht, yet twin MAN V12 engines still give her a genuine turn of speed when the plan calls for it. It is a combination that opens up the whole coast rather than just the nearest bay, and it does so while sipping fuel and holding a calm, quiet ride.
The main deck is where the De Cotiis interior comes alive. A bright salon runs aft to forward, wrapped in glass and hung with contemporary art, flowing into a dining area set around a round table with wide sea windows on every side. Sliding doors open the space onto a shaded aft deck, so the living area stretches from the galley right out to the water.
Above, the flybridge is a full second living level, with a bar, a dining table, sun pads and shaded seating under a light hardtop. Down at the stern, a beach club and swim terrace bring guests right to the waterline, backed by tenders and toys, while the foredeck hides a private sun lounge for quieter moments. Wherever the day takes you, there is a space set up for it.
Accommodation sleeps nine across four cabins. The owner’s cabin is a calm, art filled room with wide windows and its own ensuite, joined by a double and further guest cabins, each finished in the same soft palette and each with an ensuite. The layout suits a family or a group of friends, with real privacy for everyone on board and a genuine sense of design running through every room rather than stopping at the salon door.
A crew of four looks after her quietly, from the galley and service to the toys and the tender, close enough to anticipate and far enough to leave the party in peace. She cruises out of Naples and along the Amalfi coast, at home between Capri, Positano, Sorrento and the wider bay, with the range to reach the islands beyond when the mood takes.
BLUE EYES suits guests who want something new, capable and full of character, in one of the most rewarding cruising grounds in the Mediterranean. She is modern, warm and quietly distinctive, a yacht that makes a week on the water feel both easy and personal, and one that looks as good at anchor as she does under way.
