About Bombay

BOMBAY brings a sense of theatre to the fifty metre class. Built by Benetti in 2016 and refreshed in a 2023 refit, she is one of the few charter yachts of her size to place a genuine casino at the heart of the guest experience, a design choice that sets the tone for everything on board: playful, social and quietly indulgent.

Her main salon is the stage. A blackjack table and a roulette wheel sit within a warm, gold accented interior, framed by full height windows that draw the sea into the room. Evenings here move easily between cards, cocktails at the bar and dinner at the formal table, then drift up to the sky lounge or the piano lounge as the mood softens. Little about the layout feels ordinary, and that is the point.

Space is used generously across her decks. The main deck master is a light filled suite with its own seating area and a mosaic tiled bathroom built around a deep tub. Four further cabins on the lower deck, two VIP doubles and two twins, accommodate up to ten guests, while a crew of eleven keeps the rhythm of the day unobtrusive. Interiors throughout are finished in pale woods, soft neutrals and considered detail, a calm counterpoint to the energy of the salon, and the flow between decks keeps guests and crew comfortably apart.

Outside, BOMBAY is built for long Mediterranean days. The aft deck pairs an al fresco dining table with deep lounge seating under cover, ideal for lunch at anchor. One deck up, the sun deck opens into a run of shaded sofas, sunpads and a spa tub set against open water, the natural gathering point once the anchor is down. Forward, a foredeck lounge offers a quieter corner away from the main flow of the day.

At water level her beach club and broad swim platform turn the sea into an extension of the yacht. An RYA approved watersports centre means guests can move from paddleboards and seabobs to jet skis and towables with the support of a crew trained to run them properly. Divers are well catered for, a well equipped gym lets guests keep to a routine between swims, and underwater lights bring the water alive after dark once the sun has gone down.

She is an easy yacht to cruise. A full displacement GRP hull and aluminium superstructure, twin Caterpillar engines and at anchor stabilisers give her a composed, comfortable motion, a cruising speed of twelve knots and a range that suits unhurried island hopping. In summer she works the western Mediterranean, from the French Riviera and Monaco to Corsica, Sardinia and the Amalfi Coast. In winter she repositions to Dubai, where warm weather cruising and a city skyline make an unusual and welcome contrast to the European season.

BOMBAY suits groups who want their charter to feel like an event rather than a routine. With a distinctive interior, a full spread of deck space and toys, and a crew geared to entertaining, she offers something most yachts of her length do not: a real sense of occasion, wherever she happens to be anchored.
