CONTIGO is a 50-metre motor yacht delivered in 2024 by the celebrated Italian shipyard Sanlorenzo, the very first of the yard’s pioneering 50Steel series and a yacht that has already set a technical and architectural benchmark for her class. Formerly known as ALMAX, she pairs clean, contemporary exterior lines by Zuccon International Project with a beautifully composed interior by Piero Lissoni, blending dark woods, minimalist detailing and a warm, sophisticated atmosphere throughout. Built on a full-displacement steel hull with an aluminium superstructure, she is as forward-thinking beneath the surface as she is elegant above it, and delivers a charter experience that feels far larger than her 50-metre length. Her defining innovation is Sanlorenzo’s patented Hidden Engine Room system, which relocates and reorganises the machinery spaces to bring the yacht’s social heart right down to the waterline. The result is a spectacular full-beam Ocean Lounge that opens directly into a generous beach club at sea level, with fold-out terraces that connect guests to the water in a way few yachts of this size can match. Above, a mezzanine-style formal dining room sits on the mid deck, while the upper-deck saloon and dining area flow out onto a panoramic sundeck crowned by a striking two-level pool and 360-degree sea views. There are two pools in all, expansive decks for lounging and alfresco dining, a spa and massage room, and a well-equipped gym, all arranged for seamless indoor and outdoor living. CONTIGO is also a landmark in sustainable yachting, being the first yacht in her class to feature a green methanol fuel cell system developed with Siemens Energy, allowing her to power her hotel systems with significantly reduced emissions and to lie quietly at anchor in near silence. A brand-new Wajer 55 chase boat extends her range of adventure, supported by a generous inventory of water toys including jet skis, four Seabobs, wakeboards, paddleboards, kayaks, bikes and more. Accommodation is arranged for up to 10 guests in five suites. The owner’s stateroom is a serene, elegant retreat with its own study and dressing room, distinguished by a hand-painted Japanese silk folding screen of cranes and thoughtful bespoke detailing. Four further double cabins are clad in warm red ribbed panelling with circular portholes and en-suite bathrooms finished in cream marble effect with unique tiles by Domenico Mori, each a comfortable and characterful sanctuary. A professional crew of 11 delivers polished, attentive service throughout, and with her child-friendly layout she is equally suited to families and groups of friends. Powered by twin engines, CONTIGO cruises comfortably at around 12.5 knots with a top speed of some 16 knots and a range of 4,000 nautical miles. She spends her summers in the Western Mediterranean and her winters in the Caribbean and Bahamas, offering a uniquely modern charter experience where Italian design excellence, technical innovation and genuine sustainability come together in perfect harmony aboard one of the most talked-about new yachts on the water. As the yacht that launched an entire new series and pioneered green fuel-cell technology in her segment, she offers charter guests a rare chance to experience the cutting edge of contemporary yacht design. Available for charter through Cecil Wright and Partners, CONTIGO is offered at rates from EUR 325,000 per week plus expenses.
