DIVINE is a thirty metre Posillipo from 2006, refreshed in a 2019 refit, a planing motor yacht built for fast, sociable cruising through the Greek islands. She carries twelve guests across five cabins with a crew of seven, and she offers the warm, finely finished interior of a classic Italian motor yacht together with the pace and the flybridge living that make a week aboard feel effortless in the summer heat.
Her point of difference is the combination of volume, speed and finish at a manageable size. Posillipo built her with a low, sporting profile and the power to match, a top end near thirty knots that turns a run between the islands into a short, spirited passage, yet she carries five proper cabins for twelve guests and the separate formal rooms you would expect of a larger yacht. The cherry interior is deep and beautifully kept, the character of a Posillipo of this era, and the refit has kept her fresh without losing it.
Life in the open air centres on the flybridge and the aft decks. The flybridge is the social heart, open to the sky with sun pads, soft seating and a shaded helm, a clear outlook over the water and the natural place for breakfast and sundowners. The main aft deck sets out a shaded dining table and a lounge a step from the bathing platform, the foredeck gives a cushioned sun pad for a quieter corner forward, and the swim platform opens onto the water with the tender and the toys close at hand for a day of swimming and exploring.
Inside, the main saloon is a long, welcoming space lined in rich cherry, soft seating gathered around low tables with the sea drawn in through full height glass down both sides. Forward, a separate formal dining room seats the full party around a proper table for dinners aboard, a room apart rather than a corner of the lounge, and a bright foyer links the decks. The finish throughout is warm wood against pale upholstery, deep and honest, the work of a yard that built to last.
Accommodation is arranged over five cabins for twelve guests, a generous plan for her length. The master cabin is a full width room amidships in the same warm cherry, with good natural light, generous storage and its own ensuite. A VIP, a double and two twin cabins look after the rest of the party, each private and comfortable with its own facilities, the twins converting readily for children or friends sharing. Few yachts of thirty metres give a group of twelve this much room below.
Under way she is a quick, assured planing yacht, happiest pressing on along the coast with the decks full and the sea sliding past. Her natural ground is Greece, the Saronic and the Cyclades and the mainland coast, clear water and quiet bays and lively harbours all within an easy fast run of one another, exactly the cruising a yacht of her character and turn of speed was made for.
DIVINE suits a family or a group of friends who want space, speed and the warm character of a classic Italian motor yacht over the gloss of a new production build. Her five cabins, her separate dining room and her flybridge set her apart, and her recent refit keeps her fresh and comfortable. Quick, roomy and attentively crewed, she is a relaxed and good value way to charter the Greek islands.
