Explorion is a 2023 Aquila power catamaran, and at a shade over sixteen metres she is proof that a smaller yacht can still deliver a full charter week. Two hulls give her the stability, the shallow draft and the wide, level decks of a much larger boat, and for a family or a group of eight she turns a modest length into real living space. She sits flat and quiet at anchor, slips into shallow coves a deeper yacht has to pass by, and spreads her accommodation and her social areas across a beam far greater than any monohull of her size could offer.
Her outdoor spaces are where she makes her case. The flybridge runs across the top of the yacht with a sun lounge and shaded seating and clear views on every side, the aft cockpit gives a shaded lounge and bar a step from the water, and the foredeck opens into a run of sunpads for quiet time in the sun. The three levels give a group room to spread out or gather as the day calls for it, and the light Greek evenings turn every one of them into somewhere to watch the sun go down.
Down at the water she is set up for swimming and play. The stern opens into a broad swim platform and boarding area, with the tender alongside and a locker of toys ready for the day, from paddleboards and towables to snorkelling gear. Her shallow draft lets her anchor close in where the water is clearest, so a morning can start with a paddle across a still bay and end with the whole group swimming off the back of the yacht, the crew of three keeping the day moving without ever crossing the guest areas.
Inside, the main deck is one bright open volume glazed on every side. The salon lounge, the dining area and the galley share the same light and the same view, so the group stays together whether the doors are open to the cockpit or closed against the midday heat. It is a calm, contemporary interior in pale timber and soft neutral upholstery, cool and uncluttered, designed for easy movement between the salon, the cockpit and the flybridge above rather than for formal set piece rooms.
Accommodation is arranged for eight guests in four cabins, each with its own en suite. The cabins sit low in the hulls with windows near the waterline, quiet and cool at night, and they are finished in the same pale timber and soft tones as the salon so the whole yacht feels of a piece. A master, a VIP and two further guest cabins suit couples, children and friends equally, and the layout keeps the guest and crew areas cleanly apart so the yacht runs quietly through the week.
Explorion cruises the Greek islands through the summer, the Cyclades and the Saronic within easy reach of her home water. She moves at an easy sixteen knots between anchorages with a little more in hand when a passage calls for it, quick for a catamaran and efficient with it, so a week aboard covers more of the coast than a slower yacht could manage. For a family or a group that wants shallow water access, space out of all proportion to her length and the freedom to swim straight off the yacht, she is one of the most complete small catamarans on charter in Greece.
