About FELIGO V

Design pedigree is what sets FELIGO V apart. Her interior is the work of Francesco Paszkowski, one of the most respected names in Italian yacht design, and it shows in a warm, wood lined interior that feels considered rather than decorated. Built by Cantieri di Pisa as an Akhir 110 and delivered in 2008, she is a 33.8 metre motor yacht that combines real pace with a genuinely elegant cabin.

She is quick. Twin MTU engines push her composite hull to a 22 knot maximum and a 19 knot cruise, fast enough to make light work of a Greek island itinerary and to reach a lunch anchorage before the crowds. Zero speed stabilisers hold her steady once she stops, so the speed never comes at the cost of comfort at anchor.

Inside, Paszkowski’s hand is clear. Rich timber runs through the main saloon, warmed by large windows and a palette of soft neutrals. The saloon groups generous sofas around low tables for relaxed evenings, a separate formal dining table seats the whole party, and a well equipped galley keeps the crew close to the action. The look is Italian and current without chasing a trend, the kind of interior that still reads well years after launch.

Accommodation runs to five cabins for ten guests, arranged as two doubles, two twins and a convertible cabin that flexes to suit the group. The layout absorbs families, couples and friends with equal ease, and every cabin is finished in the same warm wood with its own bathroom. The convertible cabin in particular makes her adaptable, shifting from a double to a twin as a booking requires.

The exterior decks are built for the Mediterranean. A flybridge carries a shaded dining table and a sunbathing lounge high above the water, the foredeck sets out sunpads away from the crew, and the aft deck opens to an al fresco table that flows straight from the saloon. Meals move easily from inside to out across the day.

Her transom is made for the water. A hydraulic swim platform lowers to launch the two Zodiac tenders and the yacht’s water toys, then becomes a boarding and swimming step at anchor. Water skis and snorkelling gear round out an active set up that suits the clear water she cruises.

FELIGO V is classed by ABS and flies the Greek flag, and her base in Greece puts her crew of six on home ground, with the local knowledge to match a fast yacht to the right anchorage each day. At her price she represents strong value for a designer interior and genuine speed in one hull.

For a group that wants Italian style, a recognised design signature and the pace to cover ground without stepping up in size or budget, FELIGO V is a considered choice. She is quick between islands, elegant once the anchor is down, and finished throughout to a standard that still stands out nearly two decades after she launched.

She is proof that thoughtful design ages far better than fashion, and that a well chosen yacht at this size can deliver both speed and style in equal measure.
