About Invictus

INVICTUS is a 66-metre motor yacht built by the American shipyard Delta Marine, delivered in 2013 and refitted in 2020. Her name, Latin for u2018unconquerableu2019, is drawn from the William Ernest Henley poem of the same title, and the yacht herself lives up to it: at almost 1,943 gross tons, her interior volume rivals that of a 75 to 80-metre superyacht, spread generously across six decks.

Naval architecture and exterior styling came from Delta Design Group, who gave INVICTUS a graceful silhouette of sculptural shapes and accelerating curves, while her interiors were created by Diane Johnson Design in partnership with Johnson, Wen, Mulder & Associates. The result blends traditional and modern influences into a cool sophistication that still feels warm and welcoming, finished with exotic wood veneers, rare Italian marbles researched specifically in Florence, and custom Lalique glasswork throughout.

Her owneru2019s deck is genuinely exceptional. The full-beam master suite features floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides delivering a 180-degree view of the ocean, alongside an office, a lounge, his-and-hers en-suites and a private u2018breakfast decku2019 where guests can take meals in complete seclusion, with a dedicated sunbathing spot forward. Twelve guests in total are accommodated across nine staterooms, with four doubles and two twins on the main deck and two further doubles on the lower deck, each individually designed.

The interior spaces are built for genuine entertainment. The high-ceilinged main saloon is filled with light from picture windows on three sides and centres on a piano, while next door a tiered cinema seats 14 guests in reclining armchairs in front of a full-size screen. A bridge-deck skylounge channels the style of a Parisian nightclub, complete with a bespoke Lalique bar, and a well-equipped gym with sliding glass doors offers ocean views during a workout. A bar appears on every deck, ensuring guests are never far from a drink wherever the day takes them.

Exterior living follows the same generous scale. The sundeck carries a glass-fronted Jacuzzi, an eight-person sit-up bar beneath a hardtop and an alfresco dining table, while a fold-down beach cabana at the stern opens up the swim platform for relaxed, shaded access to the water. INVICTUS is wheelchair accessible throughout, with an elevator linking every interior deck, making her a genuinely flexible choice for guests of all ages and mobility.

A full-beam tender garage with port and starboard access houses two 8.2-metre tenders, including an 11.6-metre Jupiter chase tender, alongside an extensive collection of water toys: stand-up paddleboards, a two-person ocean kayak, wakeboards, wake skates and full snorkelling equipment. Twin Caterpillar engines give her a cruising speed of around 13 knots and a range of up to 7,000 nautical miles. INVICTUS has built an outstanding charter career since her delivery, splitting her calendar between the Caribbean and the East Coast of the United States, with a crew of 19 dedicated to delivering exactly the kind of effortless, elegant experience her design promises.

At almost 1,943 gross tons, INVICTUS offers interior volume more typical of a 75 to 80-metre superyacht, spread across six genuinely spacious decks.

Exotic wood veneers, rare Italian marbles and custom Lalique glasswork combine to create interiors that feel both traditional and thoroughly modern.
