About KRISTO

Speed is the argument for KRISTO. She is a Sanlorenzo SL118, a planing hull built
in GRP at Ameglia in 2016 and refitted through 2026, and she moves at 23 knots
without the drama that number usually implies. The Riviera is a coast of short
hops and long lunches, and a yacht that can cross from Portofino to Saint-Tropez
between breakfast and an early swim changes what a charter week can hold.

Francesco Paszkowski drew both her exterior and her interior, which explains the
coherence. Outside, the line is long and level, with a low superstructure and a
sundeck that carries the whole beam. Inside, the same restraint: pale sofas,
warm timber floors, white sheers and a ceiling coved in ribbon-thin wood. The
main deck is one open volume running from the aft doors forward past the lounge
to the dining table, and it works precisely because nothing has been added to it.
Light arrives from three sides and the eye keeps going.

The sundeck is where she earns her keep at anchor. A teak-clad jacuzzi sits
forward of a run of double sunpads, with a bar, a shaded dining table and enough
open deck that twelve people never feel crowded. One level down, the aft deck is
a shaded outdoor saloon in woven furniture, close enough to the swim platform
that a paddleboard is a decision rather than an expedition. The platform itself
opens wide, with the tender garage and toys immediately to hand.

Accommodation is five cabins for ten, and the layout is unusually generous for
36 metres. The master sits full-beam on the main deck, finished in navy and warm
walnut, with hull windows at eye level from the bed and a marble en-suite behind
mirrored glass. Below, two VIP doubles are dressed in burgundy and gold, one of
them with a deck hatch that drops daylight straight onto the bed. Two twin cabins
finish the layout, each with its own vanity desk and en-suite, which makes her
straightforward for families travelling with children or staff.

Her crew of six run a boat that is set up for movement. Stabilisers work underway
and at anchor, so the 23-knot passages are comfortable and the evenings are
still. Starlink keeps the connection live well offshore. The toy list is
deliberately compact rather than exhaustive: a Castoldi 520 jet tender, an
electric surfboard, an eFoil, a Seabob, four sea scooters, paddleboards and
snorkelling kit, all of it launched from one platform without a production.

What KRISTO offers is a particular kind of week. Anchor off Cap Ferrat for
breakfast, cross to Corsica in the afternoon, be at dinner in Calvi. She is fast
enough to make that ordinary, quiet enough that it does not feel like effort, and
small enough to take berths the larger boats cannot.

She is a straightforward yacht to charter, too. Her draft is 2.25 metres, so the
smaller Ligurian and Corsican harbours stay open to her, and at 36 metres she
takes berths in Portofino, Porto Cervo and Saint-Tropez that a 45-metre boat
spends the season negotiating for. For guests who want to see the Mediterranean
rather than sit still in one bay of it, that is the whole point.
