Built in Croatia by the Odisej shipyard and delivered in 2019, Lady Gita is a 49-metre sailing yacht whose recent 2024 refit has sharpened every surface on board without altering the generous proportions that made her exceptional from the start. Drawn by Nauta Design, she combines a traditional sailing silhouette with a contemporary interior that feels more akin to a boutique hotel than a vessel under canvas.
Under sail, Lady Gita is a presence. Her rig draws the eye from any harbour, and on passage the combination of wind power and twin engines gives the crew freedom to choose between a silent reach along the coast and a powered crossing when the schedule demands it. Cruising at ten knots and capable of twelve, she covers the Adriatic and Ionian with ease, repositioning between Croatia, Greece and Italy as the season unfolds.
Deck spaces are arranged with the kind of generosity usually reserved for motor yachts twice her beam. The sundeck carries a jacuzzi, a circular sunpad and a dedicated lounge that doubles as a gym for guests who prefer to keep moving. Below, the aft deck opens onto a full-width dining area for twelve, flanked by day beds and shaded from the midday sun. Below decks, Lady Gita offers an unusual configuration: two full master suites rather than the customary single. The aft master provides a private retreat at the stern, with its own seating area, full-height windows and a generous en-suite. The bow master matches it in scale, occupying the forward section of the lower deck with light arriving from three directions. Four further guest cabins, each fitted with king beds or convertible twin-to-king layouts, complete the accommodation, giving every pair of guests their own en-suite bathroom, wardrobe space and individual climate control.
A crew of nine operates discreetly on board. Service reflects the relaxed, sun-warmed hospitality of the Eastern Mediterranean, shaped as much by the morning market in Hvar as by any formal training. The galley team builds each day around whatever the nearest harbour offers, and the tender crew handle logistics with a lightness that makes even complex island-hopping itineraries feel effortless.
The 2024 refit refreshed soft furnishings, updated audiovisual systems throughout and added a swim platform and beach club at the stern.
