About ONE ZERO

Numarine’s XP series answers a question most builders at this size avoid: what if a 37-metre yacht were designed around range rather than speed? ONE ZERO is a 2024 37XP, and the numbers behind her are the point. Six thousand nautical miles at eight knots. Three hundred and sixty-two gross tonnes on a 37-metre hull, which is expedition-ship volume in a package that still fits the Mediterranean marinas people actually want to be in.

Can Yalman drew her, and the exterior is unapologetic about what it is: a near-vertical bow, a long uninterrupted sheer, a hull that reads as purposeful rather than pretty. Rezzan Benardete Interiors handled the inside, and the contrast is deliberate. Where the outside is industrial, the interior is soft, warm and quite personal. The main salon runs on a curved cream sofa and a single sculptural armchair in burnt orange, lit by brass tripod lamps, with a backlit bar forward and glass down both sides. The dining room sits behind it under a crystal chandelier and a slatted timber ceiling, its glass table facing straight out to the aft deck.

Up a level, the skylounge is the room that will decide most charters. It opens through folding glass onto its own terrace, so the sofa, the deep red armchairs and the table outside function as one space when the weather allows. It is the quietest room aboard and has the best view from it.

Accommodation is where the wide-body layout pays. Six cabins sleep twelve, which is a genuine twelve rather than a number reached by counting Pullmans: the master takes the full width forward with a patterned headboard wall, a desk and windows at eye level, and there are two proper twin cabins below with real single berths, not convertibles. For a family charter, or two families, that matters more than another metre of salon.

The wide-body layout is what makes all of that possible. Numarine carries the full beam out to the sides across the main deck rather than leaving side decks running the length of the yacht, which is why a 37-metre hull returns 362 gross tonnes and why the salon and the master both feel a class larger than they are. The trade is that you walk through the boat rather than around it. Large windows run throughout, so the interior stays bright and outward-facing despite being pushed to the rail.

Outside she is organised in layers. The aft deck carries the main table under the deck above. Below it, the beach club opens directly onto the sea, with its own settee, tables and a fridge, and a platform that deploys a floating dock onto the water. The flybridge runs the full width with sunpads, settees and a forward helm station. The toy list is unusually current: four Seabob F5SRs, two Lift eFoils, two Awake Ravik electric surfboards, two Sea-Doo jet skis, a five-metre FunAir slide and a Williams DieselJet 505 tender.

She is slow by charter-yacht standards, cruising at twelve and topping out around fifteen, and that is the trade. What she buys with it is autonomy. A 37XP does not need to plan a week around fuel, and with eight crew aboard for twelve guests she does not need to plan it around service either.

ONE ZERO is not the yacht for someone who wants to be in Saint-Tropez by lunchtime. She is the yacht for someone who would rather be somewhere that takes a day to reach and is empty when you get there.
