REGINA K is a thirty two metre Cantieri di Pisa, drawn by Francesco Paszkowski and launched in 2008, a planing tri deck that pairs genuine Italian pace with the volume to look after ten guests in real comfort. A careful refit in 2018 brought her finishes up to date, and today she reads as a modern charter yacht rather than a product of her build year, crisp outside and warm within.
Her lines are low and purposeful, the kind of profile that still looks current more than a decade after launch. Three decks give her room to spread out, so the yacht never feels crowded even with a full party aboard. The flow between inside and out is easy and natural, from the wide main deck saloon to the shaded aft decks and up to a sun deck laid out for long afternoons in the open.
The top deck is where most charters settle in good weather. A broad sunbathing area runs forward, while aft a dining table and a bar sit under shade, so lunch in the sun and sundowners in the cool both have a natural home. Down at sea level the swim platform opens onto the water with a tidy store of toys close at hand, and a small beach club gives a sheltered spot to step in and out between swims.
Inside, the main saloon is light and quietly contemporary, soft seating gathered around a low table with the sea framed on three sides. Forward, a formal dining table seats the full party under a run of windows, and a separate study gives a calm corner to work or read away from the main living space. The mood throughout is pale and restful, warm timber against cream and the occasional note of blue, a finish that flatters the light rather than competing with it.
Accommodation is arranged over five cabins for ten guests. The master suite takes a generous share of the beam, a settee to one side and an ensuite finished in pale stone, while a double, a further guest suite and twin cabins look after the rest of the party. Each room is finished in the same considered style, private and comfortable, with the kind of storage and daylight that make a week aboard feel effortless.
Under way she is quick when it suits, with a top end above twenty five knots and a relaxed cruise around twenty, so a long hop between islands is a short morning rather than a full day at sea. Her natural stage is Greece and the wider East Mediterranean, where her pace and her shallow draft open up the kind of anchorages that larger yachts have to pass by.
REGINA K suits a family or a group of friends who want the reach and the service of a larger yacht without the formality, a crew of five on hand and a layout built around easy days on the water. She is a straightforward, well judged charter yacht, selective in the details that matter and relaxed in the ones that do not.
