RENATA is a forty metre explorer motor yacht built by Cerri Cantieri Navali in Italy, launched in 2018 and kept immaculate through a 2025 refit. She has the calm, purposeful lines of a modern expedition yacht, all clean white volume and long horizontal glazing, and she carries the space of a much larger vessel. Based in Croatia, she is perfectly placed for the Dalmatian coast, cruising from Dubrovnik and Split through the scattered islands and on into the Bay of Kotor in Montenegro, a stretch of water she seems built for.
She sleeps twelve guests across six cabins, a full beam master suite and a mix of doubles arranged so a large family or a group of friends can travel together in comfort. The interiors are bright and contemporary, finished in pale oak with soft neutral upholstery and enormous windows that pull the sea and the coastline right into the living spaces. Every cabin is generous, calm and full of natural light, and the master in particular takes the full width of the yacht, a serene retreat with panoramic glazing on three sides.
The main deck is arranged as one flowing social space. A comfortable salon of deep sofas and armchairs gathers at one end, a formal dining table seats the whole party at the other, and the two zones share the same wide views and easy connection to the aft deck. It is a room built for a real week aboard, cool and quiet in the middle of the day, opening up to the outside air the moment the doors slide back. Above, a separate skylounge gives a second, more private living room with its own bar, television and library, a favourite spot for a quiet afternoon or a nightcap.
Her decks are where she truly comes alive. The aft deck works as a shaded outdoor lounge and dining room a step from the salon, the side decks carry sun loungers alongside a spa pool that catches the afternoon light, and forward there is more room still to stretch out in the sun. At sea level a broad swim platform folds down into a proper beach club, with the water toys launching straight off the transom and the sea a single step away. There is space here for twelve people to spread right out and never feel on top of one another.
Under way she is steady, quiet and reassuring, exactly what an explorer hull should be. She cruises comfortably and carries the range to move easily between cruising grounds, so a morning swim in one bay and a long lunch in another are an ordinary day rather than a plan. Her shallow, forgiving manner lets her tuck into the pine fringed coves that define a Croatian cruise, and stabilisers keep her calm both on passage and at anchor so meals and sleep are never disturbed.
A crew of nine looks after the twelve guests aboard, a generous ratio that shows in the cooking, the service and the water sports. The toy locker is well stocked for an active week, with a seabob, paddleboards, towable toys, snorkelling gear and a tender for runs ashore, and the beach club keeps the day centred on the water. Days shape themselves around the group, from a slow breakfast on the aft deck to a late dinner at anchor under the stars.
RENATA suits large families and groups who want space, light and genuine sea manners for a Croatian summer: twelve guests in six cabins, a skylounge, a spa pool on deck and a beach club at the waterline. She is roomy, modern and quietly capable, a considered base for exploring the Dalmatian coast and Montenegro at an unhurried pace.
